I was there in 1968. It was the 1sttime I felt comfortable in a school. The others are institutions. If all schools were more like this, it would be a much better world. New building is a blight, disrespect to OG Bancroft.
Yess so I go to the Bancroft school Bancroft is amazing And we have a lot of teachers and All of the new stuff added is amazing so I go now and we have a brand new library new gym and it’s so different and no more of Mrs snow:( she left but we still have the guy who sings no nay never and Mrs Kasey in that red with reindeer outfit she is kinda mean now but she’s are Music teacher now and we have our assembly’s in the cafeteria and it’s just so cool to see the old Bancroft it’s just amazing to see these videos!
Excellent documentary. I attended the first open house for Bancroft elementary when it was winning design awards and the scuttlebutt over the years was that the concept wore out physically and was too loud. Seems that was untrue, it worked great (although some of the moderne construction was frail). I wonder what happened to the full Orff marimba and xylophone orchestra that the open house had on display?

I go to the new Bancroft today it is so much fun I love everything about it I never got to go to it but I had the tour there
I love Mr.Rex he is so much fun
