Good job. One constructive criticism. You shouldn't quote the pricing from Tesla's site until you uncheck the "fuel savings" and "tax credits" as those will vary from person to person. Tesla loves to show those but they may not be applicable.

@matt45540 it is important to know as journalists are presenting information, they have a responsibility to provide accurate information. Or at least accurately explain what they are presenting. So, it is definitely their fault. I do applaud them for taking that responsibility in their reply. And that makes me MORE likely to watch these podcasts.

Of course, with oem's there's the listed price then the drive off the lot price. Our 2014 truck was way more expensive than the listed price. But, good point.

Fracie has the idea, but I suggest for her to do it in the vinfast. Afterwards she can do another video on: way back home:
Fast charging makes up for the battery size.

I’ve experienced the tesla route planner telling me to stop more often than I’d like. I think it happens more in places where there are a lot of chargers.
I think the route planner is just conservative which is a good thing. Some ppl are not optimizing for minimal stops and maximal charging curve and just want to arrive with a buffer…

Out of spec should really consider making a charging data app or making the website more mobile friendly. People need to know their charging curve!

"I didn't know there was a charging curve" , these are the people pushing EV's on everyone and they don't even know what they are pushing. I love my Teslas but the people pushing have no idea what they are selling.

No, Lacey is new to EV ownership and operation. She’s accumulating experience with EVs which she even mentions near the end of the video. Sure, there are people who own EVs who don’t understand that there is a charging curve, or that a 350kW charger can’t provide most vehicles with anything close to that value. But where manufacturers and dealerships fall short, we can help, with education.
I encourage people all the time to accumulate experience. Learn as much as you can through experience and asking questions.

Hey hey hey - everyone starts somewhere. A ton of EV owners know jack about EVs even if they’ve owned them for years. Attitudes like this one lead to slippery slopes of useless division. We embrace learning over here on the OOS podcast 🧠
From where she is, Lacey can meet tons of potential EV owners wherever they are along their EV curious journeys.
Now when it comes to biiiig decision makers in business and legislation - those folks better know EVs inside & out!
