In Greece there was an old sitcom about an antisocial professor that did not care about women, worked on a great project that never seamed to end, and feared germs to the point of antibacterial bathing, but he was quite sarcastic. He had to share a house with an uneducated waitress who had a sexy waitress friend that wanted to be an actress. When I first saw the american show I thought the two shows were quite similar in design, but the two waitresses were combined to one. Sitcoms based on culturally biased polar opposites easily meet one another.

What did you do? Go through every single comment and evaluate that a comment about his sarcasm hadn’t been made? If everyone commented the same thing, there’d be no need to comment anymore, so if no one’s commented about Sheldon’s sarcasm, go ahead and comment about it yourself rather than ask why no one else has yet done so.

True. But, the same could be argued for a lot of the jokes in this series. And, that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Most, if not all, of what people find to be humorous is bound to be offensive one way or the other. The best material from the most successful comedians typically comes at someone or something else’s expense.
@@youmustcreateachanne It's not insulting. It's only insulting if you take it seriously. It's not intended to be taken seriously. It's about a specific physicist not all physicist. And the joke is just about the wordplay with "what are the odds of that?" I laughed.

When Leonard snapped back at Penny about setting up something for her, I cracked up at the look of bewilderment on Penny's face.
Sheldon is right about the queen bees in nature. And the way they fight us brutal, even worse than a normal girl fight. They try to suffocate each other with body heat using the worker bees in their side.
Although most sting the combs where the other queen larva are so they can never mature. But, if there is 2 queens, just go to the new hive

I would love to see Alicia continue on the show. In that last scene where she is asking Penny how much psychists make, she is obviously considering giving one of the guys a shot if she is asking that question. Of course, then Penny and Alicia fought and that kinda ruin things for the guys (Because, the guys are going to pick side, either team Alicia or team Penny. And considering they know Penny longer, of course they side with Penny.) Even so, I wonder which guy Alicia would date. (To be honest, I prefer if she pick Howard. Having to ask how much a guy make before deciding whether to date him, isn't a strong foundation for the start of a serious relationship and Howard is mostly just looking for something casual. So, this is exactly something that suit Howard, something casual and a bit of fun. If it lead to more it lead to more, otherwise, it will end in a few months and part as friends.)

it's interesting how this show would have been different if Johnny Galecki wasn't hired as the lead originally. Jim Parsons was pretty much an unknown, yet he ended up stealing the whole show in the end (and became the highest paid actor to star in it). had they cast Jim as the lead Sheldon and Penny could have been the end game. imo, Jim and Kaley's characters had better on screen chemistry compared to her and Johnny's (and yes i'm aware that Kaley and johnny dated for a time). season 1 and 2 were the best, but afterward it seems the writers really changed the characters to be completely different to how they were in first 2 seasons.

Ok, waited years to say this, that bit about bees is utter tosh. There are never 2 queens in the same hive. When the hive becomes too big old queen leaves with half of the bees at which point the hive raises number of new queens, the first that matures then kills the others. Only time something like what's described happens is when a particular breed of parasitic bee enters the hive, and when that happens the hive is doomed because those queens only lay other queens and after awhile the entire colony collapses.
Ok, believe it or not, Sheldon's schpiel is intended as humor. Obviously some people struggle with humor. Perhaps you should keep your nose to the grind stone in your little workshop, or whatever passes as a workshop.

@@jeanneellis5090 I was beekeeping on and off for about 3 years. Unfortunately i couldn't dedicate myself to it full time and the land where we kept them wasn't really suitable, but I learned a lot about them in that time.
