I’m loving the hd concealer for all over the face, kinda like a foundation. Looks skin like for me. I like light coverage type products. Enjoying the haus labs concealer but don’t care for the foundation. I like using concealers as foundations

I like it, don’t love it, and prefer to use it for the face instead of under eyes. And the Easy Bake pressed powder… so not impressed. But I love love love the loose version. Well, you win some you lose some.

I literally haven't heard 1 person that likes that new Huda setting powder it's a huge flop for her . She literally should have made it the same formula as the lose without frangerance and a frangerance free loose version and she would be banking off them. I heard she was doing a frangerance free version cause she made that tik tok girl Mickayla a frangerance free version cause she loved the powder but couldn't really use it cause the scent and people told me she was doing a frangerance free version but literally I think that was this release right here.
I think the pressed powders are selling well to people who have never bought the loose powder because they’re not huge into makeup and loose powder intimidates them. I actually see a lot of brands making marketing moves toward people specifically outside the beauty community, and they may not be popular with beauty aficionados, but they’re probably doing well with regular people. Also, it’s pretty much impossible to make a loose and pressed powder identical in formula, because of the binders that have to go into a powder to make it hold it’s “pressed” shape. Still, I think we all could have done without the shimmer. I’m curious if that was a byproduct of trying to go talc free.
It’s really disappointing that an influencer, especially THAT one, is deemed “worthy” by huda of having that fragrance free loose powder, but us, the consumer, can’t have it. I’m not big on attacking peoples character, but that Mikayla is a disaster. Makes zero sense. Huda has always seemed like a smart businesswoman, so I don’t understand why we can’t get a FF loose powder. Especially since this ain’t it, and ain’t what we ask for either.

Hi Martina, Very comprehensive review! :) I like foundation with a light to medium cover, more light than medium. :)) My HO is Chantecaille Future Skin. I tried Lancome in Myer and is a nice one for sure. My skin under eye is very dry and so far Dior Forever Concealer is the best for me (good cover and good hydration). I bought the Gucci concealer to use it as an eye primer. I couldn't find a good eye primer and this concealer is perfection.🙂 After I set it with powder any eyeshadow stay in place all day long. I would like to see your skincare routine. 🙂 I have very senzitive skin, prone to break out and I'm very curious considering that you also have senzitive skin. Thanks for sharing! XOXO

Ooooh that Lancôme foundation looks good!! I’m STILL going on my original Lancôme concealer, what the actual hell??? 😂😂😂 I use it every time I do my makeup!! Which is most days!! I don’t understand!! And it hasn’t gone bad, my Pat ones went bad quite quickly but this Lancôme one is still perfection for me!!
Thank you for another thorough and thoughtful review. I tend to stick to light coverage that lean into treatment. I like this trend. For me, the best set for my mature skin is the Givenchy under my eyes and Hourglass loose powder. I’m curious to try the Fenty skin stick.

Great review! So many new products tested. I've actually slowed down on my concealer and foundation purchases. I really need to use what I have. I have not tried the Patrick Ta for the same reason, people either love or hate it and I've seen more hate than love. But now I'm curious. Unfortunately it's not available at my Sephora ( we hardly get any of the higher end brands, no Natasha. no Gucci, no PM, no Armani, No Danessa, very limited on YSL, Hourglass and Dior) yeah I know it sux. And with foundations I HAVE to swatch instore before I buy. I have buying and returning so maybe I'll check it out next time I'm at the Galleria in Houston ( 4 hours away😢) I am interested in the Prada and the Gurlain one that came out few months ago. The Hourglass concealer is really good tho if you haven't tried that one. I haven't even decided what I'm going to pick up during the Sephora VIB sale! And no worries on responding!! I can't imagine how much work it is to do you tube and work full time plus balance a family and giving yourself some "me" time! Take care of your self first ❤❤❤

The Shiseido foundation packaging DOES look like a roll on deodorant!!! 😂😂😂😂 I can’t unsee that now! I’m in no danger of buying it, even though it sounds nice. I can’t stop wearing the Prada foundation. I love it so much. It is perfecting, lasts all day, and just makes my skin look amazing. I’ve seen people with dry skin and oily skin like it. It doesn’t break me out either, which surprised me, too. I can’t help reaching for it every day. I hope the Bobbi Brown comes up with a lighter pressed powder shade. The formula sounds great, but I know the shade wouldn’t work for me.

Wearing the PT foundation right now! I’ve actually hit pan on it. Have not done that with any product especially product for a really long time. Also I feel so dumb because I took forever to try the powder but agree it is so good with the foundation! I also use it in my t-zone and then go back in with heavier powder as needed.
Thanks for the reviews, this was so useful! I have dry skin and like lighter coverage so the Shiseido foundation sounds like something I would like. I was looking at buying a new concealer and powder and had my eye on that pressed Huda one which seems to have mixed reviews, and the Haus labs concealer. I think I might try the Huda powder in store and see how it feels on my skin, as I loved the loose one, but prefer pressed powders especially without that strong perfumy scent.
I'm so glad it was helpful! I definitely recommend checking the Huda powder in store first. Its sooo the opposite of her loose powder which sucks cos I have the same preferences as you with powder but it is so drying :( 💗💗

The huda concealer is my favorite on my textured, aging, dry undereye, but I wish it had a touch more coverage. I have very deep inner corners and I have yet to find a color corrector that covers it at all and that doesn't change my concealer texture or color. If huda would come out with a lighter corrector or something that'd be great 😂
That scratch was something else 😅. We have very different skins but your review was still very useful. The lunar beauty powder is supposed to be in ipsy. I now know not to pick it up. For reference, the Charlotte Tilbury powder is too drying for me and looks awful. The kosas and hourglass powders are perfect.

If you love the Tower28, but want more coverage you need to try the ABH magic touch concealer and the Hourglass vanish!!!

I use loose powder to do my original make-up, but like a pressed powder to pop in my bag with the lipstick, for touch-ups while out.
