I have 55yo combo oily skin. I avoid layering lots of makeup products like primer and powder. To prevent my oils from creating foundation cakeyness, i focus on satin finish and I do not set with powder.
This foundation is like Chanel Vitalumière (the original, not the Aqua), but BETTER. The pores are less visible, more shade range and even more hydration. I thought nothing could beat Vitalumière, but this foundation did. 👍
Thank you I went through several videos and I enjoy that you waited until you worked with the product before you posted a video. The others were the first day trying it out which I don’t feel gives a good review. So many times I had to work with the product to find how it looks the best and you did that. Thank you I will try it with a primer like you suggested. 👍🏽
I'm happy to see your review on this foundation. I've looked at this foundation a few times, placing it in and taking it out of cart. I have mostly normal skin with a nickel size dry spot here or there from different products. I may wait until the Sephora sale to try it.🤷🏼♀️
What mattifying/shine controlling moisturizers do you recommend? (Not primers) You mentioned you use one in this video. I have hardly found those anywhere. Thanks!
I want my Synchro Skin Self-Refreshing foundation back!! They have had limited stock for over a year and it is making me nervous. One of the best foundations ever made and I'm afraid they are getting rid of it. 😔
The coverage levels are different. Shiseido lasts longer and looks better while doing so, so yes. You can see my review of Hourglass in my last foundation roundup. It was fine for a sheer/light very dewy foundation for a moderate-length day for me.
It looks beautiful and would be great if only it did not have octinoxate, as that has endocrine disrupting properties. But I'm not sure how bad that would be if it is only used on the face. I would be interested if they made a foundation similar to this one but without sunscreen ingredients.

Do you prefer this one over the new Hourglass skin tint?

I feel like no matter what I get streaks with a brush.
