Hi Martina, I didn't watch this video to start with as la Paire powder is expensive and I knew that and I thought I would probably love it and I do. STUNNING just stunning, I love it!!!! ❤❤❤❤ Thanks so much, but really it would b utterly fantastic to have and use. The video was great!!!!!!!
Seriously, thank you for testing it for us. I'd never fork the price out to try it out. I've got super duper oily skin so I'm not tempted. As an aside, sometimes I wonder if folks who spend this much feel a bit overwhelmed at what they spent and tell themselves it's the most wonderful product ever. It would have to be way better for what it cost!
I have the la prairie powder and love it. If you buff it it gets a sheen I can’t explain. Super pretty. I do have dry skin and it lasts well not sure If oily or combo skin. I just don’t like it has talc but I just try not to sniff it lol ❤ edit: the Chanel powder used to work well for me but once I hit late 30/s is when I noticed that la prairie worked better for me.
I don't mind making the jump from the Givenchy prisme libre to La Prarie- for the talc!!!!! As a person with an oily t-zone, I desperately need the talc in my powder. Sad about the Givenchy reformulation, but it looks like this La Prarie powder will be my greener pasture!
Mel Thompson did a really good review comparing the la prairie when it first came out and the Chanel loose powder. Because I am more combo/oily I think I'm going with the Chanel. Plus it's cheaper lol
I'm so glad that you like it and enjoyed the experience. I was hoping you would otherwise I would have been so sad for you spending that much money. I am thinking how many other powders I could buy with that amount of money. I might try the Chanel actually once I've used up a few. Thanks for trying it for us. x
This is the problem with super-high-end products: they are really good, they usually do what they say they’ll do, sometimes they are truly superior to ‘cheaper’ brand. But are they different enough to justify paying 3, 5, 8, 10 times the price or more? Probably never. (I still get a 140€ Clé de Peau foundation for daily use, though 🙈)
I have the cushion foundation and the pressed powder from, duty-free has better prices that retail shops. This looks beautiful on your skin. ❤ I am on the hunt for the Glass Skin powder since I’ve seen it on your chanel, but no luck yet, in Europe.
Hello dear! A question: I wanna splurge but I have to buy it online. There is Translucent 0 as well. Have you seen it in person? I have fair/cool toned skin and wonder if 1 will pull warm or dark in any way?
What mattify powder do you recommend for dry under eyes. I've been using the givenchy but as you know the formula has changed. Do you recommend the chanel for this?

The Chanel loose powder has always been my favorite no matter what I’ve tried.
Fully agreed.
When you showed us the powder in the jar I said to myself “ please don’t spill it, please don’t spill it”. LOL.
Living vicariously through you 💸💸💸

I can definitely see if you have dry skin this would be a holy grail for sure! xx

Yes I heard they reformulated, is it perfom better than previous one?

Haha yep I feel ya! I also really want to try the Cle de peau foundation! xx
Any idea how this compares to givenchy prusne libre powder?

You should try this powder on your mum :)
If you decide to sell the travel size I’m interested
Love the eye look! What do you have on your eyes? 😍

You need to try the Shiseido loose powder. $50 from Mecca and it’s superb!
Ohh what would you compare it to? xx
@@MartinaLilyI use the PM under eye powder in the small black compact. I like it just as much if not more than that one.
Wonderful video, thanks. ❤
Thank you for spending your money to help us fantasize. 🤣
