If I would have had this in my younger years I'd still have a back worth a damn. It makes me cringe thinking how when I was young I use to carry around truck axles and pick up and load engine blocks and transmissions in my truck by myself.
***** The thing is, I didn't struggle doing those things. At the time those were common activities and I never felt I was pushing myself. There were times when I got mad and picked up things I shouldn't have like when I grabbed the rear bumper of my F250 and by myself, lifted it 'till the tires come off the ground; Then I could feel some pain. That was pretty idiotic. However, I cringe nowadays thinking about those things because I'm just an old fart now and my back is so decrepit that a good sneeze will leave me bedridden for a few days. This past year I spent from late May to late October in bed or on the couch in pain.
I feel for you. I’m in the same boat. I warn younger people all the time who think they are strong and omnipotent that the components of our bodies do wear out. Of course they don’t believe me or heed my warnings. They just think I’m a tottering old fool.
* this looks like a very good design for a pickup truck. But, if you're going to be doing this all day long with more than one motor or other Freight... get a dry box with a roll-up door and a liftgate so that you can use a pallet jack if needed(2000lbs+) multiple pallets with more than one stop. ^
What's the price tag on this thing? I saw the company catalog but they want Contact data instead of giving you the price right up front. I'm always wary of that practice.
throw enough money at a problem and there is always a solution. This looks expensive and once again is a truck crane without stabilisers so all the weight is taken on the vehicle suspension which cannot be good in the long run. If you spend this much on an electric hoist then you must intend doing much lifting so why not spend a few dollars more on some legs to the ground
Ok this is the best design I've seen so far.Thumbs up!
its a mini skip wagon without the skip...weve had these in the UK for years...great job converting for use on a pickup...no legs required...

Yep, looks good, but no price, nor any dealer or webshop
Might not even ship to Europe for all I know..
I like the concept, but I need to pick up less than 500 lbs, and I want to pay a lot less.
اللي حاطين (عدم اعجاب )....لماذا...؟!!😣
