Love my 2021 Troy! Just had my first official ride on it last week!
wow. I love the clean setup with the dropper . 170mm is a perfect match. :D Good luck in EWS!
Great video, love to see how tom is getting more confident.
the devinci troy is the best looking frame imo
Loved the Troy I test road, great bike!! Fantastic and amazing rider, love the mindset.
Tom does a good job. Glad he's now with Pinkbike.
Dope interview 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾
Need more Tom
Love the colour.
I'm also searching for the sweet spot brake levers position :P Sweet ride !
Yeah! Kiwis for the WIN! Sup' from Wellington, Tom 🤙😁
shiMANo....thats a first time I've heard it said that way, def caught me off guard
How did you get a DHX2 Coil in a 185 x 52.5. I can see that they make the Marzocchi CR in a 185 x 52.5, but the DHX2 only comes in 185 x 55 and I can't find any stroke spacers like the air shocks for the DHX2.
Cool keep it up !
I love the Raceface wheels with the white logos! Why can’t I find these wheels online?
I love Tom
I'm in love
MORE TOM
My Devinci Dexter is a killer bike!😂
170 on a med. What's your inseam?
has anyone ridden one at a bike park and have any thoughts? I'd probably overstroke it for 147mm of rear. I ride at Killington quite a bit so I'm curious how this does
Tommy gun is back! +1
0:24 lol
Yooo
Yo Tom looks like he has been doing this...
this was a pretty good vid, very low key and naturalistic vibe. but, and there always is a but, a bike check is not really worth anything without the stats of the rider. height and weight at least. sometimes pros or other expert and/or experienced riders have sizing and/or setup preferences that are not bog standard, and those insights can be helpful for folks, especially those who are not in the center of the sizing recommendations or necessarily served well by standard ideas of bike fit you get from possibly not so experienced bike shop employees.
If you are basing anything off of pro bike checks, something wrong is happening
@@bananasstuff3344 thank you for your response. this is bill o'reilly-level inane. congrats.

@@CyclesDevinci thanks for the update. i'm insufferable and don't understand low-information types. you folks made a great-looking and apparently great-riding bike with this new purple troy.
@@CyclesDevinci You guys are on it! Now if you could just tweak the worldwide supply chain issues so I could find someone to take my order of a large troy in carbon/alu that would be super!
5:30 did you just call it a “drive chain”? If so, I’m afraid you need to get on your specialized stunt jumper
I don’t get how you run 23/25 psi, WITH Cushcore, as a woman, presumably pretty light. I’m 180lbs, running 17/18psi, no Cush, cheap carbon wheels, no problems.
@@ark8tct Exactly, balancing rolling resistance with grip. As a pro racer she probably has a DH bike or two to use for trails where fast rolling is unnecessary. This bike is intended for more diverse trails thus choosing a good middle ground setting that works for various conditions. I'm also heavier without a tire insert and I can safely run lower pressures. What I also am is significantly slower. Another important factor. :'D
I'll buy one just because she's cute. I'm talking about the bike.
@romaric fournel
We need a nice counter
And the subtitles in Spanish
She rides like she is a supernatural super hero but interviews like an adorable girl next door. Gives me hope that I can ride better, hah!
Woah, hang on, yanks run their brake levers arse ways?
That is how everyone runs their brake levers on this godforsaken planet save for some of the countries that drive on the left side of the road. UK is a good example. Probably has some relation to signaling in traffic. Regardless, while there's no right or wrong way, moto style is significantly less common.
@@frankthetankricard thanks for the teachings. Everyday is a school day.
I assumed that it just mimicked motorbikes, minus the clutch.
@@frankthetankricard what about twist and go scooters and non-clutched bikes, are they “North American” spec?
@@Thesomersetgimp I have no clue WHY we run levers opposite to motorcycles in NA, but we do. Possibly because it's "easier" for beginners who are all right handed and afraid of the front brake?
Bike, E-bike, e-mopeds are all NA brake style. Gas (petrol, eugh) powered everything are moto/euro style regardless of clutch, in my experience.
Mountain bikers need to learn how to shop a hat these days...
Y'all need to let the Ausie be more Ausie, and less professional correspondent.
