    As a child in the Pennsylvania mountains, I can remember we had a flying squirrel in our house!! After causing a ruckus, the little guy ended up getting tangled up in mom's curtains which worked perfectly as a net. Hahaha. Awesome memory. Miss you and love you mom!

    It's summer and it's terribly hot in Brazil. So I think it's very refreshing and fitting to see shows like this, about a cold, far away world. 😃😃

      Sorry to tell you this but it's the most polluted, toxic sea in the world. The porpoise is almost extinct, from pollution and shipping noise. The sea is merely 10 000 years old, but alread the most rotten dead one on the planet.

    • @JH-lo9ut
      @JH-lo9ut 9 месяцев назад +4

      Our beloved Baltic sea is unfortunately one of the world's most polluted seas.
      The Baltic is very shallow and the connection to the Atlantic Ocean is so very narrow, this makes the overturnof water very slow. The pollutants are partly from industry, and shipping, but to a large extent from agriculture and human waste.
      Run-offfrom agriculture brings fertilizer to the sea, wich makes it over-fertilized. This leads to over-growth of algae that creates lots of problems, including oxygen-depleted bottoms.
      Large areas of the sea bed is already "dead" nothing lives there anymore😢
      Our nature is stunningly beautiful and pristine, but we are sadly about to loose the sea.

    Just found this channel and the documentaries are absolutely incredible and I’m in wonderland. Thank you so much for this amazing content. I’ve tried watching many wildlife documentaries on RUclips but 1 of 2 things, usually happen.
    1 thumbnail looks beautiful and when you click, it’s 15 years old and extremely poor image
    2 constant adverts every 2-5 mins and I simply just don’t bother. I will definitely be watching many of these documentaries, in the following months. There’s bloody 100’s of them and the quality is fantastic. Really well made documentaries, really nice picture quality, great narration and beautiful nature and wildlife . 😁

    This high quality video is entertaining with majestic Wildlife scenes of birds and animals. It also covers many scientific footage and commentary. The persistent cold that lasts 6 months will keep this area from getting over- populated with Humans. The wildlife and pristine wilderness at this latitude is insurance that this beautiful and wild place will stay that way.

      Not that much affected yet as this is further North than Southern Alaska and winters vary within a fairly wide range anyway with shorter or longer periods of ice. But it is fully understood that changes will take place unless we can stop global warming soon.
