Hi folks :) I hope you’re having a great day so far! Welcome back to what’s for tea, and I hope I find you all very well.
This week we just went to Tesco…This week we spent just under £70 :) This will do us for the week ahead. I do mini top-up shops throughout the week too, or pick up things I’ve forgot to get. And I’ll need to nip to the butcher too.

I hope your watermelon quality improves. They are in-season July-Sept. here (US). My daughter has to be reminded not to eat too much in one sitting LOL.
Just came in from ranch chores, gathered eggs as a last stop. Walked in the door, poured a cup of coffee and sat down to spend some time with Cheryl and this lovely community. Hi to everyone. Nice shopping trip !!!

Ranch chores!? Where do you live please. When my husband and I rode across the mid west to stay on a proper cowboy ranch would be so exciting
7 of us flew to Denver hired transport to get us to Aspen. We booked Sturgis late hence the travel length and why. My husband and I stayed at the wonderful Yesterday's Inn in Spearfish. Totally spoiled, milk and fresh cookies left on our bedside table.

Busy day, garden gave me 50 pound's of tomatoes that I'm canning. Everything looks really tasty. Always interesting to see food from another country.

I'm always impressed at how much food, especially the fresh food, that you can buy so cheaply. Prices here in Tennessee just keep climbing. Sounds like you are feeling some better. I always want a parsley plant when you post getting one. They are almost $% here. Love ya.

My boyfriend like Earl Grey tea, I've never tried it though. I love my sweet iced tea but idk if my taste buds changed or what but it's not been tasting good lately.
Hello Cheryl lovely shopas usual i hav'nt seen beetroot salad bags here in Sydney but lots of salad bags mixed leaves baby spinach etc. We buy quick a few buicuits etc that are found in your supermarkets in Coles etc.
Nice shop Cheryl. Yes I get what you mean I can never get every thing I want From lidl or aldi but tesco has everything, I akways get distracted tho as love tescos , the clothing, homeware , so usually end up spending far more on other things !!😅 and sometimes it's just more convenient to just go to 1 shop & be done with it. And tesco you get clubcard points as well , alwats a bonus. That cheese & potato casserole your going to be making sound ls so nice.

Recent convert to Tesco from Asda, really much cheaper and better quality once you have a clubcard. Although I do miss spinach from Asda as you didn’t have to wash it.
Do you ever get dismayed at the amount of disposable plastic our food comes in? It makes me feel so guilty every week! All that going into the ground/sea
Well it shocked me all the food pre wrapped,when I left England ,we were taking our own bag to the greengrocer,or the butcher,and now in my old age I start to watch videos from the UK,I had a hard time believing so much food is wrapped before you buy it.I watch one channel that does a lot of shopping in their local butchers,and I see his meats are all pre wrapped too,in our butchers nothing is wrapped before you buy it,when you do they wrap it in butcher paper.That great big label on a single lemon why,here they just have a notice to say how many lemons you can get for a dollar.😊

Good shop , Cheryl , far bit for the money , like that Fage too , you're like me , yoghurts , fruit , honey , granola or museli for breekie , wasn't aware Onken did a peach and passionfruit yoghurt , with me not able to get to shops anymore , reliant on a carer doing my shopping , one thing have learned in recemt weeks The Co-op are doing brilliant Scottish Strawberries , great flavour , even though I have my own growing out on the decking in pots , they only ripen in pairs , never enough for a bowl , but taste good nonetheless , we just need a bit more sunshine over here 😊❤😊❤
I enjoy comparing prices between Scotland and Los Angeles. We are pretty much on par.

Can’t wait for the cheesy potato recipe, my favourite 2 things at the moment! The Schwartz chilli mix/powder is lovely but I don’t go for the hot one. Colman’s do it too, just as nice.

Aw thank you so much. A good anti-aging hand cream is a must, and cuticle oil before bed too...but I've definitely noticed changes in my hands through the years 🙂 Thanks for stopping by.

I wonder what store in the US with carry those previously baked potatoes you call Jack potatoes cause I’ve been looking at Safeway and Trader Joe’s and so far I cannot find any frozen pre-cooked baked potatoes
American stores don’t have those frozen jacket potatoes,the UK has much more premade foods,mix’s,than is available here.😊
