I bumped into him and his gf at the Food Lion on Market Street in Greensboro around this time and he was buying some cocoa pebbles and we chatted for a few about this new album and it was kinda funny. Run on sentence much...
Terrible album where is the mordecai concept album... cause dustie is a farmer who could operate a combine and other farm equipment, build his own property and they say its the best.
They really hit the nail on the head with this lineup. I hope they never stop making music together I hope they can continue to make a happy and healthy living as musicians
Dan's reaction to Tommy growling it's priceless. It's this skinny little dude being terrified by this monster that comes out of Tommy's voice hahaha. And before he was like "oh, hey, it's Dan". I love this guys so much.
I remember I didn't get into this album back when it came out because I hold Colors in such high regard that I was afraid I might be let down. Finally listened to it a few months ago and realized I'm a dumbass because TGM is definitely one of their best albums. It's on at least once a night when I'm at work now! In my top 3 BTBAM albums for sure.
Colors was the album that got me into BTBAM and I listened to that album so much, but the great misdirect just slightly took the edge for me as my favourite album they've done. The musicality is a lot more diverse and just so much more gripping. This album is just everything
Colors got me into them and is still my favorite album from them. However, the self-titled, The Silent Circus, Alaska, and the Great Misdirect are all getting up there.
I really fucking love TGM, it basically had everything About BTBAM that I love in one record, and somethimes one song. Its crazy how much heavier the silent circus and alaska are than this album, but still just so freaking dope
@@TylerJMacDonald I personally have a hard time listening to remasters because I tend to get so used to the original that the remaster just sounds jarring. I found the original sounded great already, so it wasn't too much of a difference and I quite enjoyed it.
I followed Dan Briggs on Myspace before he joined BtBAM. I was jamming out to his songs lol, pretty sure they were instrumental. I knew they were in good hands when he came in.
I live on a lake an i always thought it would be a great setting for something epic, actually looking out my window i can totally see one of these dudes strapped to a jetski while the rest them are standing on the bank in giggle fits lol long live btbam
"Sweet an sour patch adams apple pie crust punk rock hori "😂lol that word hori i wonder how they learned that, thats a common phrase in my native tongue that pretty much means undesirable ,i didnt know people knew that word

Used to be called The Little Ball Of Hate if it’s the same guy I think he played with ATFS for a couple of tours before BTBAM but I could be wrong.

12:15 The moment BTBAM became my favorite band.
Colors 2 is amazing!!
It IS amazing. Who knew we'd ever actually get to this point
Masterpiece💙
The guitar center jokes were too good.
The guitar lesson was hilariously accurate towards most people that play guitar in guitar center.
would be nice if we could actually hear him!!!
These guys have stayed together all these years and still seem to be best friends and all together good dudes. A++
The greatest group of musicians, the greatest group of guys. Never stop playing
Briggs face towards Tommy's screams at the end... priceless.
Whos watching this, ready for the 10 year anniversary tour???
I got tickets to both ny shows and I got a vip. Been listening since 2002 my favorite band. Stupid covid.
Hell yes!!! They're coming this year !!!
34:15 dans reaction to Paul's solo is exactly how I reacted to Paul's solo when I first heard it.
Alex 72826 " oh hey! It's dan....bum de bum bom" hahahahahaha he's adorable!
No wonder they're so fucking amazing. They're always pepped up from sun drop. Now I understand how they play a thousand notes in one measure perfectly
They really hit the nail on the head with this lineup. I hope they never stop making music together
I hope they can continue to make a happy and healthy living as musicians
Welp this comment hasn’t aged well
the GREATEST . BAND . EVER .
The making of only six tracks. six absolutely amazing tracks.
I feel a little better knowing even Blake has difficulty perfecting his own drumming. LOL "Fuck that Part" same blake same
these guys are true legends and proof that great music is incredibly difficult to make and even harder to play !!!

Pengu E-bow, they're pretty sweet, Ne Obliviscaris (and plenty of other good bands) use em to great effect
