    It's $1431.00 on the website. That's little to expensive for a device i need to move around with my hand. If they can bring the price point down to around $700. It would be worth it.

    • @LightTherapyInsiders
      @LightTherapyInsiders  11 месяцев назад +5

      Oh is that in USD? I just looked at yeah I'm seeing a different price as well... I'm also seeing an entirely new website!! So they must have changed things up. Bummer I hate when this happens - i publish a video and it's already out of date :(
      But yes it is an expensive, niche product. It's not going to be for everyone. But I think if penetration is your objective (i.e. arthritis in the hips) you will happily spend the $

      I'm assuming the kineon also has good penetration. When it comes to treating locally

    I'd be very careful about unintentional lipolysis. The mW (both average and peak) are easily in the range for puncturing fat cells resulting in fat loss.

    • @LightTherapyInsiders
      @LightTherapyInsiders  11 месяцев назад +12

      Oh interesting. I mean could people use this to their advantage though? It's not something I am familiar with, but could someone start using this on tummy fat for instance to help lower their body fat levels? Or is it dangerous?

    • @sharmilelliott2414

      This is something I’ve heard of in the aesthetics space…folks worried about fat loss in the face. Not sure if that has been debunked since that concern emerged several years ago.

    I’m surprised you didn’t get their vitamin D light, I was watching a couple of videos on it just yesterday when I was researching vitamin D lamps. I get the concept with a tightly packed unit like these from Chroma, but personally the form factor doesn’t appeal to me. I’d rather have a stationary panel that covers a larger part of the body with an even spread, and I think the company that takes the logical step and includes the option of UVB at a low output that is suitable for a simultaneous 5-20 minutes red and NIR treatment wins the game. I mean, everyone gets too little sunlight! We spend so much time indoors and behind window glass, so everyone is in need of red, NIR and UV light! I’m leaning towards getting the Sperti vitamin D lamp and using it along with my Biomax, even though it looks like it was born in the USSR and escaped from prison… Platinum LED, take note; exchange the blue light (we get too much from screens and light bulbs anyway!) with weak UVB light and you will be the god emperor of the red light therapy business.

    Hi. I have a full body panel for overall health. However I was looking for a more targeted device, specifically for lower back and knee pain and also an Achilles issue. I was all set to buy the Kineon move+pro after I saw your review. But I've now watched this review on the chroma. Would it be a much better option than the kineon for specific target areas, taking into consideration it's clunkier and double the cost. I just wonder if it's worth it. Thanks

    • @LightTherapyInsiders
      @LightTherapyInsiders  11 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah it depends how you intend to use it. The kineon device is small, battery powered and silent (and half the price). The Chroma needs to be plugged in, is quite bulky and very load. BUT has more power and a larger treatment area.

    • @pippybaby
      @pippybaby 11 месяцев назад +2

      Thanks for the reply. One last question. If you take portability and cost out of the equation and base your choice only on effectiveness and performance which device would perform best for hitting specific target areas. If there's not much between them and it's a toss of a coin situation then ideally I'd go for the Kineon. However if the Chroma totally out performs the Kineon then I'd definitely go with that. Any further advice is much appreciated. Thanks

    • @weallknownothingpodcast3952
      @weallknownothingpodcast3952 10 месяцев назад

      His advice is completely bs. All the science on red light is used directly on the skin. To get deep penetration you need to use a panel directly on the skin. The only panels I trust to put on my skin and designed to do so are gembared. For targeted treatments buy a gembared vector and they are only $250. If you want to get zero benefits from red light use too high of an intensity at a distance. This video is a sick joke once you actually read the science

    Hey Alex, at the 8:02 mark your light penetration test was done with both the device and your spectrometer pressed into the skin. Can you do a follow up video and test with the iron forge 2-6 inches away to see if your spectrometer can detect any light on the other side? My guess is the light won’t penetrate nearly as deeply if at all through your hand.

    • @LightTherapyInsiders
      @LightTherapyInsiders  11 месяцев назад +3

      Hey. It's on my list. I have actually been in contact with someone on their team. It's not a matter of waiting to receive a free product - a lot of the products I test I just go out and buy (I spent $5000 on the Dermalux Flex MD a few weeks ago for instance), or a company sends it to me for a month or so then I return it. I just have so many products to review (literally 12 unopened boxes in my studio at the moment!) I don't source new products until I really need them. Often companies do send me products to test and these then get tested as they are sitting there ready to use. I will get a FlexBeam one day though!

    I already got a platinum 309. For my face and for some other body parts. But since it takes forever to cover the full body, Would you recommend I buy this to treat muscles after gym and for travel use ( instead of getting 4 platinum 900 at home)

    • @LightTherapyInsiders
      @LightTherapyInsiders  11 месяцев назад

      Hey, if the goal is full body treatment - then go with the full panel setup. But if the goal is those targeted treatments then yeah the Chroma works well. Personally I'm not a big fan of using the chroma for full body sessions - I did it a few times on my recent trip and after a few days I got 'bored' of having to stand there and move it all over my body - it's much easier to stand by a large panel and read a book etc

    • @chasez3743
      @chasez3743 11 месяцев назад

      @@LightTherapyInsidersthank you so much. And thanks to your video, i decided to purchase the Platinum 300. I love it a lot and it works perfectly for me. I work from home, it’s so easy to move it around. Maybe at some point when I decided to upgrade I’ll set up more 900 panels like the way you do. I guess this Chroma is nice to have if I already have a 300 panel?
      By the way, one thing I just found out after buying my machine is that there is a pretty high import tax to ship it from US to the UK 💔😭🇬🇧

You'll probably be pissed off at you spent money on these other devices. The handheld torch infrared light device he has goes through the batteries like no other. You have to use rechargeable, but it's kind of a hassle. He needs something that plugs in to the batteries.
