Love the refined handling on this trick! On the last part where the spectator is supposed to select the ace of their suit I would just do a top change if they don’t nail it. Great trick!

But if they chose a club or a Spade, you either see the Ace of Spades twice during an Elmsely count which is super noticeable, or you don't see it all, which might also be suspicious. Really loved the riffle peek and the ace count though, overall an amazing trick!
One extra subtlety to fix that elmsley count problem is this: First hold the cards up so that only you see the faces, then as you count off the first card, you say the name of the opposite suit. After that ace is counted, you slowly bring your hands down and name the other 3 suits which they can clearly see. This way it seems as if you’ve showed and named all 4 aces clearly.

We can easily manage their card to the top and then by saying that now we are gonna look for some helper cards Then we can peek at their card
That’s true. However that means that you can’t let the spectator shuffle right after they select it. But if you know how to do a top palm, you can control the card to the top and then say, “actually do you want to shuffle?” Palm the card off and let them shuffle, then you can actually peek it right there. Then put it back on top

Just remove the two cards not chosen
Yeah just eliminate the other 2 cards they didn’t choose, and now u can have them slide forward either the wrong card or the selection. Whichever one they do you either say keep or get rid of
Don't say just a "normal" or regular deck of cards.
Use jumbo index cards so they are more visible.

That is Marlos bold ATFUS SWITCH. Any Time Face Up Switch. The bold means it goes in the middle instead of the normal one card.

Yeah I have the same problem too.
Well it’s either they already know everything about magic, or you just need to practice more. But tricks that always fool better are the tricks that allow the spectators to shuffle. And also the tricks that are more on the self working side too.
