Avran destroying boots for our entertainment... the man, the legend..
I really like this feature on my Fuses, and it seems to spread pressure more uniformly than the K2 Conda. Compared to other heel lock tech, it doesn't take much tension to be effective yet comfortable. Before lacing, I crank the Boa to seat the tongue. After it's tied up I release the Boa and then bring it back to barely finger tight.
Man I miss having local shops that carry things other than burton and 32. Been a few years since I tried on every boot in the store.

Easily my favorite ankle lock tech out there. Even prefer it over the K2 Conda tech as well. Ride boots happen to be the best fit for my feet by far, and the triple BOA Tridents I use are nothing short of amazing. So far no BOA issues...Although I probably just jinxed myself

Does it also hold your heel in place better and prevent heel lift?
In a sense yes, but it's so dependent on if the boot is properly fit. If you're in one too big it's going to compensate a bit more but overall it's not going to give you as optimal heel hold.
tongue tied is a game changer.
What's your opinion about salomon str8 jacket system ?

I tried some Ride boots on a few days ago (Lasso Pro). Does anyone else notice they fit LARGE? I usually wear a half size down, but I think I need to go down a full size to a 7.5 with ride. The 8s were fitting like a packed out boot right out of the box. My buddy who wears a size ten went all the way down to an 8.5
they do
11.5 tridents fit like my 12 ions so went with an 11 in the trident
Helpful tip: RIDE Lasso are the most painful double BOA boots I've ever owned and so damn overpriced. Stick with a laced BOA system if you are looking for a comfortable boot without the pressure points. 🤙

The best boot is the one that fits your foot and fits your needs. It clearly did not fit your foot or needs.
Dude, I got the ride lasso pros, and mayne..... Don’t recommend if you have a high instep. Might work for some but make sure they fit your foot.
@@reyvillanueva7254 maybe some insoles would fix that instep problem.
