Just ordered these after an in-store try on. I think cranking down your foot from the top makes more sense than trying to hold it down with the standard J-bars. it’s infinitely more comfortable, more secure, and just a better fit. I noticed the Conda harness biting into my ankle until I pulled it a bit, then it was *chefs kiss*. Awesome boots
@@AngrySnowboarder Yeah I have the K2 Maysis HB for Clicker and that flimsy nylon thread broke after 4 days of riding. Right in the middle of a trip. Now I am back in my old Stark boots and previous gen bindings scrambling to get a replacement. Thank goodness I packed them. BTW the stark boots use a steel cable on this same piece. So I am thinking K2 went cheap here and needs to issue a new design. Luckily the shop that sold to me is on top of it and sending a new pair, but wondering how long they will last.
Thanks for the video! I watched your other videos about heel lift and I rig my boots up with the foam and everything in my DC’s. I might try these bad boys soon! Thanks
Tried this on the Darkos last year. They have a smaller plastic saddle than the one you show here, for "tweakability" I guess. I liked how the boots rode but I couldn't avoid the plastic part causing a nasty pressure point on top of my foot.
@@sammurray4204 I actually tried the Ride Fuse after the darko. It was an improvement, but some idiot put two big ridges running across the top of the foot on the slime tongue. Still left me sitting in the woods with my boots off after a few hours. I guess I just have problematic feet.

Liked the conda system on my 2018 maysis, after ab 40 days it started pinching the inside of my ankle more and more. Great lock down and easy adjustment until it gets broken in in my experience
So the 18 had the old tubing in it and I believe they moved the point where it enters/exits. I ran into that problem with the Thraxis as well and eventually just took it apart cut the tubing and restrung the whole thing. The new ones don't seem to have that issue anymore.
Solid stuff. Ride has similar thing. Didn’t like the outer boas, but that inner one - way better than harness imho. Especially combined with the wrap liner - so easy and comfy. Gotta try the Fuse model with laces on the outside and that boa inside.
@KINGDOM MT but why use cheap boots in the first place?, maybe all of you are teens and depend on parents for money but, as an adult, why would I ever buy a 300 USD pair of boots instead of the best damn ones on the market?, it is "just" they way they fit and work with your legs, nothing more so yeah, "why bother", no?
Hey Avran, SD is wack and there’s bo stores that carries K2 Thraxis over here my dude. Inquiring about sizing. I wear size. 10 with vans aura pro and Burton ion. What size do you recommend that I go with the Thraxis? Size 10 as well?
Any input on how K2 conda compares to comparable techs such as Ride tongue tied or Vans slide guide? I currently am on the K2 Darko boot and love it but i will need to replace it soon. Looking at upgrading to the K2 ender or possibly Ride Fuse or Vans Implant. Thanks.
@@AngrySnowboarder RE: K2 Maysis. I notice nylon straps sewn in at each end, on both sides of the ankle on the inside of the boot shell. They look like you could slide shims in or something. Do they serve a purpose?
They work it's just a matter of if it's something you truly need or not. I recommend it for people with circulation issues, Raynauds syndrome, and those who have had frost bite.
Lefeber... are you sure you re not french and actually named Lefebvre? Popular name over here in french Canada! Funny guy you are ... Dude I had no idea my K2 Maysis has that feature. I went and adjusted the Conda and now my boots fits way better! Thanks Avran!

Make a vidéo on the 20-21 Bataleon Evil Twin please! And compare it to the Bataleon Goliath
The new Bataleon on the Evil Twin eh?

Go watch the review on both, board hasn't changed since the last review.
I just bought a pair of 23 thraxis, but they don't have velcro on the condor system. Hard to set and forget the exact spot to put them.
Duct tape was made for this.

Tongue Tied is similar in what it's achieving except it connects to the actual tongue of the shell. I'll have a video on that in the future.
Is there a reason nylon cord is used rather than steel cable for the Conda? Can it be, should it be upgraded?
It has more give to it so it won't kink up as easily. Since they went to the cord over the steel at least for me it's been less likely to break.

Talking about Conda with a bunch of K2 boots linked in the description except the Conda :)
