Frontiers and Forces Sonic ain't to different. Seeing them side by side you notice Frontiers' more realistic materials.Kind of funny to see.
Also makes you see the great importance of artstyles in games!

What about to compare and isn't also the MaSatOGT20 Sonic mod as good as or even better than both the Frontiers and Forces Sonic mod? But the Uekawa cel-shaded Sonic fan mod is still the best Sonic mod for me.
I honestly think that Frontier Sonic’s shad of blue is the perfect blue for modern Sonic.

As much as I love the mods, I find myself nowadays not as disappointed with base Forces as I was when it released. Like 06, it was a victim of circumstances, and I just can't fault that anymore.
I never was disappointed by it but it wasn't until 2021 that I started to get obsessed with this game.
In 2017 I was like: "Wow, neat mew game!" and then focused back on the boost trilogy and a little on Boom.

Sonic Forces was the aftermath of the Wii U deal, which I am convinced it was just going to be Sonic Lost World.
All this happened because of a problem Nintendo put on themselves, because nothing was gonna save that damn system even if Lost World and Boom turn out good... which they weren't. Big Red Button (Which based on what I've heard, Sonic Team pitched in to help) got their reputation tarnished out the gate, and this led to Forces. I suppose you could blame Sega to some degree with their antics, but none of this would've happened if Nintendo was competent with the Wii U.

Overclocked is ambitious for what it wants to do and it attempts to fix most of Forces obvious flaws with the level design, but I feel it falls short on the writing and Sonic’s Voice, particularly sometimes in the in-stage dialogue.
Frontiers Sonic would definitely kick Infinite's ass.

@@user-qf5fj3mk8e Seems like Sonic only seems weak when the game focuses on friendship and teamwork. The minute Sonic does a solo run, he's an absolute powerhouse that would make Knuckles chuckle in danger.

3:33 not gonna lie, I was kind of hoping the super theme was going to be replaced with Undefeatable. Don’t get it wrong I love fist bump, but the vocal tracks from frontiers hit different
0:39 I don’t think Frontiers Sonic would be able to boost through all these robots 😂, imagine having to homing attack all of them through the whole game, that would be a shore
He could use the spindash tho, even if he freezes for a second each time he hits an enemy to give more impact, so he would still be slower than Forces with th boost

Technically, Sonic has the slide move in Frontiers. You probably forgot it exist since it's at its most useless in Frontiers but it still functions the same as the previous boost games.
@@vittosphonecollection4134 What? It only freezes you in place when you activate it in the air or charge it up. You can just activate it immediately if you press left trigger, ZR or R2.
Seeing two different variations is crazy!
The textures and fur material were the one thing I really liked from the Frontiers Model, I didn’t like how Play Doh-y and Pale Sonic looked from Generations to Forces. I liked the Frontiers Mod that gave the Perfect Unleashed Model the Frontiers Textures.

0:02 this scene would actually make sense. If 2017 Sonic and 2022 Sonic met, they would talk about like how the boost looks, how the frontiers drift sucks, and how stiff forces is.

I don't even blame you going super sonic for metropolis. That level is so needlessly tedious. Especially that 2d section, it's a chore.

it's crazy how different frontiers and forces sonic are. forces sonic is more arrogant and laid back, while frontiers sonic is a bit of a jokester but also very serious
Bro, to the people who are getting the wrong idea of this Video, it’s a mod where the MODEL OF SONIC from Frontiers is implemented into the game, Same for the Frontiers Super Sonic model. It’s NOT about gameplay mechanics

I like the Frontiers model sightly more 'cause it has a more saturated blue. Other than that, and the added detail, they're about the same
