Possibly the best reaction to this song ever, it was the suprise you got hearing it for the first time that got me. I was old school 60s 70s guy, but on hearing this for the first time, i got chills from the sound and lyrics and the production. Certainly a song that's up there with the best in any genre 👌
Great reaction mate, I can relate to this song but maybe from both sides of the relationship. I really love your Pink floyd reactions, keep them coming!
Enjoyed this, Rivaldo … especially your attention to detail. Very insightful … never noticed how he closes his eyes when she answers him. When he sings the chorus “But you didn’t have to cut me off” reminds me so much of Sting from The Police. In fact, their sound is similar in that Sting is partial to reggae sounds. I’d recommend “Everything She Does is Magic,” “Don’t Stand so Close to Me,” or “Message in a Bottle.” They are lyrically profound, as well. I think you’d have fun with them. Thank you.
Was the girl in this relationship and the gaslighting and constant criticism destroyed my self worth. The only way to build myself up again was to cut him out of my life because otherwise I would have gone back to him which would have been terrible. That was in 1972 . I'm a stronger person for that but I know he never understood and I regret how badly I hurt him
That really does hurt. I know he's doing a bit of gaslighting and that his perspective is warped enough to feel like he was wronged, yet it's bewildering when the other person eradicates you completely when there was a time you felt the world of them and them you. Our biggest fear is that we die alone and don't even leave a ripple in our wake.
exactly, I know exactly how he feels!!! I don't know why but as men we tend to love the person more when we don't have them anymore, I feel that is where we learn we love that person. And for her to cut him off, he was not able to tell her how he feels maybe
Great reaction love this song! ❤️ Have you listened to Harry Style's song called "As It Was"? It's definitely a summer jam! ❤️ You should listen to it!!! Love you bro 👏👏
WHO ELSE WAS IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH NARCISSIST? DID YOU SURVIVE OR STILL IN THE RELATIONSHIP?
You hit that on the head! Excellent perception!
My Mom is. We couldn't get her out.
