    Nice work! I appreciate the details shared during the clean and cook portion. Im inland with no salt water nearby, except when we’re on vacation, so I might try this recipe on trout.

    I immediately knew where you were when you were going by the Galvez ramp spot. 3 mile has been pretty slow lately. Where you were at around the Pickens area, there are some crazy deep holes and more manmade structure than I can disclose. I've caught some of my biggest red snapper and gag grouper around there than I have offshore in the past few years. Would love to put a trip together and I can show you exactly how we do it

    Wanted to ask a question Steve if you don't mind. Long time subscriber first time contact. I live in New Zealand but don't have a boat. So lots of fishing off rocks in Bays.     I'm suprised you need to buy a seperate license for FL. Here in CT we have what's called the reciprocal law or something like that, that allows the neighboring states to fish our waters and vise versa as long as you have your saltwater license for your said state. And even elephants eat peanuts.

    How did you pick the fishing spot in the bay, did your fish finder pick something up or did you have a spot marked?

      Mainly from previous fishing experiences!! Ive been fishing here for a while and typically pattern the fish to drop offs, tides, wind, and bait !

      @@BamaSaltwater thats what i figured. im picking up a new robalo 246 this week to fish texas coast. using the finder and maps will be key for me. you have a great setup. thanks for sharing. i watched least 40 videos you produced. anything you can teach in the videos about using the finder would be awesome especially out in the middle of nowhere. thank you for the channel

      Awesome!!! @@JR-rc1cg My Garmin came with the BlueCharts G3 charts . Most new chart plotters should have all of the public reefs. If not, it's really easy to make a SD card

      @@BamaSaltwater Yes, I was looking into downloading it. We have the bays wrapped up, but its not as easy to get to the pelagic fish as it is there sadly. I will be utilizing a lot of the things I have learned from your channel. Thanks for all you do. You living your best life!

      I disagree completely here. Everything eats a shrimp(hardheads). All slamfish eat bullminnows and I’ve never caught a hardheaded on a bull minnow.

      Redfish will eat just about anything. Using shrimp will get more bites, but more junk fish as well.

    Remember the Matrix when they needed guns these huge racks of weapons came out of nowhere and raced by like a train car. I think Steven has ability too but instead of guns, it's rod and reel combos. He can't possibly have enough room in his house for all of his fishing gear.

    Just go with a heavier squidtrex. I have all their sizes. You can drop them and just leave rod in the rod holder
