Hello there! Lots of strength to you with that bike. Remember that, ”if it doesn’t take it doesn’t give”. I also think that whistling noise soundslike starter, may also be charger because dead battery adds alot of resist. Unsynchronised carbs also cause weird noises including rattlelike sounds. When i did my first carb sync for my cbr 1000 and turned adjusting screw too much engine started rattling. Remember this bike was long cold corpse before you started CPR!

My cbr1000 developed a death rattle at tickover, once the revs were raised a bit it would go away
