We were such best buddies. Every time I returned to Old city I went all the way up just to say hi to Alfred. And sometimes he was telling me stories about his past... this death hurt alot.
I agree w that. It was so sad I legit stopped playing for a while after I gestured pray next to that scene. Alfred is honestly such a good character. Idc what ppl say he is always super nice to the player too
I love the way you cut Alfred and Annalise's dialogue together to give the illusion of the two speaking to each other. Not only are you an artistic genius, but you've got some crazy editing skill, too.
Honestly, even when holding a giant wheel and wearing a large golden cone on his head, I wasn't shocked when Alfred went crazy. I've already seen enough sh*t in this game to expect the unexpected.
To be fair, he didn't go crazy as he's just hellbent on killing Vilebloods and nothing more. Eileen can go crazy in one of her questline but not Alfred as he'll only attack you if you attack him first.

What's crazy, when you think about it, is he had to know you'd have to kill Logarius so he could get to the queen. He basically sent you to do the job for him so he wouldn't get his hands dirty. Correction: He doesn't send us. We find the path after he informs us that Cainhurst exists, but that's pretty much it. One could make the argument that he does send us indirectly by planting that seed of knowledge but it's a bit of a stretch to guess his intentions for us at that time.

My man Alfred he is such an honest dude. I don't get why people revive the queen, I always let her be a peice of meat for Alfred's sake. Also thanks for this wonderful series, you are very talented.
To honour the original cone man I left the queen as a pulp. Edit 2 years later: recently killed the bloody crow in exactly 1 min as Alfred, also faught him to see who was the superior Alfred and he died faster than gascoigne. Regardless I still respect the Protege of Logarious for I have learned that the wheel is truly my best weapon (been using a lost one since bsb and can’t forget the kirkhammer)
I really wish we could get an animated movie from Sony and Fromsoft..I will happily settle for masterpieces like this though. We all know theyll probably never make a proper one anyway.Its crazy to me that after this much love is being shown to a 5 years old game they somehow act like it doesnt deserve thier full creative attention for spinoffs and a sequel.statements like "the story is kinda done" are insane,the ambiguity of the ending or dlc alone is open to sequels and prequels.Great job on this!hope you do more,I can never get enough of Bloodborne.
Your art depicting the events of what we see is so amazing. I really love the art you include of things we can’t see in game only what our minds come up with in those moments. A good example in this video is when Alfred is walking up to the queen, we only see the aftermath of what he does in game not the before. Your art is great and maybe one day we’ll see Bloodborne 2 art from you.

I've just watched the whole playlist for the first time and I must say I'm speechless: from the way you use black as in old fashioned comics to the care for small details to every single shot, it was a pleasure for the eyes and a balm to the soul from start to finish! Worthy of a movie! 👏👏👏

He and Solaire have more in common that one might think... they lead you in with their friendly, polite manner but then you discover that they are dreadfully insane and better of dead before they hurt themselves... or someone else
But with Solaire, he is still very much kind and polite, he only went insane due to the maggot, other than that, he got depressed if we killed it prior to him finding the maggot, but still helped you fight Gwyn and linked the flame in his world (according to Miyazaki)

Errant fool indeed. I always liked Alfred's character as the tragic sort of man with a hero complex. He believes so much in the right of his Church and his mentor, he cannot fathom the true reason Logarius took on the mantle of guarding the queen. I wonder what it would've been like to summon Alfred as a companion against Logarius. To let him see his master the way we do. I particularly like how startled and then saddened you made the Good Hunter. His reaction implies he might've intended things differently for Annalise and Alfred. Maybe hoping to confront the executioner before he reached the queen and convincing him to make peace with her. His shock implies he arrived all too late. Well, off to take a trip to the Altar of Revival. I like how impartial you presented their story. I've heard several theorists claim the vilebloods are simply evil and that helping Annalise become whole again after Alfred grinds her to paste is an evil act, but I disagree. I think both sides are in the wrong. The vilebloods did partake from sinister offerings to gain power, but the whole 'betrayal' thing and valiant crusade against them was a savvy political ploy by Laurence to eliminate the nobility and gain power. And Annalise, by all accounts, is not proven guilty of anything, so she might as well be an innocent victim of this witch hunt. This is presented cleverly in the discrepancy between Alfred's dialogue and the accompanying imagery, well done. Very well made over all, I'm impressed as always. Can't wait to see what masterpiece you'll manage next. :)
