This song has helped me through my last suicide attempt and I listen to this song when it gets bad. But I have made promises to my family and friends and this is one way to help I will never forgive myself for what I put my family through the last time. And if anyone needs someone to talk to I am always here I know how it feels and I am always free to talk and help in anyway I can even if you need a listening ear

I have PTSD, and there are days where ending it is something I think about, recently my therapy pet passed away I'd had him for 13 years. This song has helped me in so many ways...I have struggled with Suicidal thoughts since I was 13, Survived domestic violence and the PTSD took hold and got worse when Cowboy passed away. Yes he was a cat, but he helped me through the panic attacks. sometimes music helps the same way...
Hey, there's no such thing as "just a cat." They're the best therapy, bar none, and I feel so sorry for people who are extremely allergic to them.
I have many mental health problems I am bipolar, anxiety and I am depressed and I have thought about just letting go, this song has helped me a lot...I have struggled with my problems, bad breakups, my parents passing away, I have a strong support system behind me family friends & bf who has helped me tremendously

I agree. What happened in the video almost actually happened to me. Wife started hemorrhaging about an hour or so after birth, losing about almost 2/3rds of her blood, but through persistent care from the medical staff and prayers, she made it through. So, every now and then, I cannot listen to this song for it reminds me of it.

Nickelback - Saving Me, Photograph, Someday, How You Remind Me
The music video implied that a guy's wife died after giving birth to their baby girl. He does'nt know what to do with the baby so he grabs an adoption thing on his way home with the baby. He tried hard to take care of it but nothing worked. That is,until his phone falls and a video of his wife starts to play. He notices it and made his baby watch it,knowing that it would help the baby girl feels like the mother would always be in there even if she's death. The guy gave up about the adoption and throw away the adoption program. He ended up taking care of the baby. However,the lyrics talks about suicide and tells you to not giving up your life and that you're not alone and everybody's been through this.
This song was one of the reasons I didn't commit suicide as a teenager. Any time I'm depressed or suffering from major depression like I do at times I listen to this song and remember why I am still here right now

This is by far one of the most powerful songs they have but please react to more of their music... I dont get why they get hated on cause while they do have their rock and roll stuff, they have a lot of meaningful songs like these and meaningful videos that go with them. They are definitely one of my favorite bands
I may not have been in dire situations, but this song does help when Im just feeling down and they have several songs that help me thru those times: Far Away, Never Gonna Be Alone, Satellite, and Song on Fire.

The line, "And if you can't tell, I'm scared as hell, 'cause I can't get you on the telephone," has a stronger meaning for me these days. My father has been having some serious heart problems, and they've been getting better, and his cardiologist says if he loses 30 lbs most of his problems will go away, and we're working on that, but it's still really worrying for me and my sister when we can't reach him. This got a lot worse when our mother suddenly and unexpectedly died of a heart attack last year, and so sometimes my sister contacts me and asks if Dad is doing okay because he hasn't responded to her texts in a while, and I always go to check up on him. So far, it's always been because he was taking naps, but that fear hasn't gotten much better.

I've never understood why people say all their songs sound alike. You can tell it's them when you hear them. But that's true with most bands that what makes them unique. The subject content is always different. People are just haters.
Billy thanks for sharing this reaction. It's my first time hearing it too. I agree about listening to this when battling mental health issues. I battle depression and anxiety and 2020 didn't help. I'll be listening to Lullaby more often now.

Most people hate the lead singer because he has done some really scummy things. Like trying to get nudes from fans bullying and hazing members of there road crew. Getting drunk and into fights. Also being a major sexist and misogynistic asshat. I mean I love Nickelback's music. And the rest of the band is ok from what I heard but Chad is a next level d-bag.
