Thank you so much Norma for paying us a visit at Sparrow + Wolf. Your love for food and excitement about great hospitality is contagious. We appreciate your review and look forward to seeing you in the future. Keep up the great content and happy eating. ❤
Luis, I don't know why the City of Las Vegas and/or Clark County doesn't pay Michelin to come out to Vegas again. Your restaurant seems like it would be a contender for at least one Michelin star! I'm from the San Francisco Bay Area, and I've flown out to Vegas a couple times for concerts. Generally, I don't go to full service restaurants, but I would definitely consider going to your place 🙂
@@neutrino78x I don’t think my opinion on whether we should have a star or not would be unbiased. I can say we have one of the best hospitality teams in Las Vegas. We are fortunate to work amongst some truly passionate people. We are proud to be a talking point among our community members and love the work we do. Michelin guide briefly operated here in Las Vegas sometime near 2008 when there was an economic downturn. They assed that Las Vegas was not a fine dining destination, rather a tourist destination with many celebrity chefs. I think that year was the last year that they rated anything in the city. Rumor has it that they might be coming back soon. Although we didn’t open our doors with the intention of gaining any of these awards or recognition we definitely believe that we operate at a high level and are hospitality centric. Our food is bold, unique, and unapologetic. We hope you can come down to see us when you are in town.
Norma, thank you for the video. Nice to see places to eat off the strip. Just one minor problem. The interview with Chef Brian Howard the background music was too loud and it was hard to hear what Brian Howard was saying.
Wow 🤯 This video should be on prime time tv as its better than anything they are playing already. How do your videos just keep getting better & better Norma? I really enjoyed the editing style on this one and of course, you're the best presenter ever. Thanks for showing us some tasty Vegas treats.
I've heard lots of amazing things about Sparrow + Wolf, and with such a high rating, I think we'll soon be hearing lots about Anima too. There are so many incredible restaurants located just minutes from the Strip, and I'm so happy you showed us a couple. Excellent job Norma!! 🌠
Love the new look videos - the overlays and stuff look amazing (cursive text was hard to make out sometimes) - your videos were already great but this has really elevated them!
We ❤ going to places off the strip. Quality and prices are better. The last couple of visits we havent spent any money on food & drink on the strip. Thanks Norma for more places to add to my list for the April 2025 visit!
seems like Chinatown gets a lot of love from the foodies. No surprise there since most of the places i i've gone to seem to range from decent to really good. But Chinatown has been getting more crowded every time i seem to visit Vegas. Wondering if you can try to locate some decent restaurant finds in North Vegas or West Vegas.
The quality of your videos continue to improve!! And this one does not disappoint. Not sure if you’re doing this on purpose, but the way you add the backstory is very effective. Annndddd you didn’t spill on yourself!!!!YEAH!!! And thank you for showing us these gems of Vegas!!!🙏
I'm not a local but every time I'm in Vegas, I always go off the Strip to eat at great restaurants. Here are some of my favorites: Izakaya Go, Hatchi, Lamaii, Pho & Beyond, Noodlehead and Birrieria.
The price of the tasting menu at Anima is amazing! There is no way I could eat all that food! I wonder if you could get one tasting menu for two people!
Wow, Sparrow + Wolf and Anima looked like Michelin quality restaurants! The City of Las Vegas and/or Clark County really needs Michelin to come out and review the city again! You guys surely at least have several one Michelin star places, if not a Three Star Michelin place! There are only 14 in the USA (making us tied with Italy), but I'll bet we could raise it to 15 or 16 if Michelin came back to Vegas. Admittedly, full service restaurants are not something I'm into, generally speaking. The only times you'll see me at one are, if I'm there as a special occasion with family, or on Amtrak. Most of the long distance Amtrak trains have full service restaurants on them. Yet another reason why I think you would like them, Norma! For example the California Zephyr, which goes from Emeryville (in my area) to Chicago, has a full service restaurant, and the food is included in your ticket. There's a three course dinner: appetizer, entree and desert. The choices for main course are flat iron steak, pan roasted chicken breast, salmon and pasta primavera. 🙂 Anyway the editing on this video was amazing and so was your great beauty 😍
Norma, need a favor. I ran into a couple that vlog in Vegas, but I can’t remember their channel name. His name is Dave and I don’t remember her first name, but I think their last name is Iverson. They stay at Cosmopolitan quite a bit. Any clue who I’m referring to? Thanks.
Langostino 🦐 from Mariscos El Puerto off Decatur and Lake Mead. Ask for the chef to make your El puerto sauce extra spicy 🌶️ 🥵 🔥 🔥 A1 hidden gem 💎 way off the strip. All these places boujee af. I visit LV 2/3x a year and always stop at Mariscos El Puerto and Dom Demarcos.
*Enjoy your content, Norma.........but unfortunately the way people socialize and connect with each other has shifted. In the 80s"Dancing" was the way people socialize & connect with each other. Now, it seems as if is all about eating & drinking.. so sad!
Fantastic Vid Norma! Thanks for the locals recommendations! Adding to the lists!🙌
You should definitely do more unique local spots! 😀
I love the new editing style!

All the food looks so delicious. And I love your quote : "Hi, I'm Spicy, what's your name" Could be my new pickup line. 😄
Sparrow and Wolf is amazing!
Oh those dishes looked so good! Please do more of these videos. It's good to see other great places to eat that are not on the strip.
Norma, thank you for the video. Nice to see places to eat off the strip. Just one minor problem. The interview with Chef Brian Howard the background music was too loud and it was hard to hear what Brian Howard was saying.
I love your videos, Norma. I always end up trying something you recommend and it always is 10/10.

Your Sparrow and Wolf. The most exiting meal I’ve ever had!
HAHA, she was buzzed at the 23:00 minute mark, the slurring really picked up "soooizzzz something video" lol
I heard the slurring at the end too. She obviously had a fantastic dinner experience. LOL
Yes, she definitely is buzzed, and her slurring makes it hard to understand her. Appreciate the content but not the boozie commentary. 😂
You know you’re way in over your head when you don’t understand half the ingredients being described.
“Hi! I’m spicy what’s your name?” Love it!🤣
When it comes to food , I trust Norma 😋
Hi Norma it's Pat from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada 🇨🇦. Thanks for the video. 3:17 1967 Mustang?

This is true, certain areas have become hard to find parking

The price of the tasting menu at Anima is amazing! There is no way I could eat all that food! I wonder if you could get one tasting menu for two people!
$89 for all that food?
Best drunk food is Roberto's
Agreed 😆
Nora’s Italian Cuisine. Maybe ten minutes from the strip. Great food, good prices.
Looks really tasty and upscale off strip.
No one but you Norma
Not 4 me. 2 fancy
Can you do all the Hawaiian food places please?🤙🌴😎
Ngl Chinatown has the best restaurants in the city. 🤤🤤

Ooh these videos are going to bankrupt me if my job moves me to Vegas (which is looking more and more likely)
"Locally sourced produce" In the desert? So cactus? OLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
I love Foie Gras. Wish Cali would bring it back legally. And Gin rules btw. These places kick ass against the overrated and over priced Strip.
I wish I had a dollar for every OMG. It’s like listening to a fifteen year old

Nothing in the Vietnamese Steamed Clams would taste Vietnamese.
I just saw on a reel....YOU TOTALLY TALKED WITH GORDON RAMSAY! So you gonna hang out with him and stuff? Don't forget us normal people
It was so cool and he was so nice! Make sure to look for the video on Life of a Norma Geli in a few days
Norma needs to work on her descriptions.
