I liked most things, but the MCU writing in that movie.. you can smell the laziness at every corner. Holands Spiderman is a complete failure due to the MCU. The other 2 spiderman were great though, due to the fact their prior stories weren't written by absolute hacks. Maybe now with the soft reboot at the end it will change, but I doubt it.
My son and I just got back from the theater about two hours ago. The smile on his face was worth ten times the admission to me. I'll add that this one dethroned The Dark Knight as my favorite comic book movie. We're going to see it a second time over my son's Christmas break. I loved the Eddie Brock post credit scene.
As for the Venom thing, I think it'd be cool if we get an Anti-Venom. I say this because 1: We've never seen that character live action. 2: Tom Holland's Spiderman is hyper sensitive with his spidey senses; constantly being shown using them, as well as him giving the advice to Spiderman 2 and Spiderman 3 to "trust your tingles". If he sheds the Tech Suit, he will trust them even more as his safety net. This would mean encountering Anti-Venom, who Spiderman can't sense, would be a cool complex.
@@TylerNOS386277 I think we will be seeing him because everyone loves him but I think he will be more a Venom (Tom Hardy) enemy unless they cross the universes again, I would love him in any way
@@TylerNOS386277 spiderman cant detect venom or carnage with his spider sense I would say all symbiotes can avoid it but idk Venom was on Peter so knows his ins and out and took parts of his power and carnage is the offspring of venom with all the powers and then some but it gets muddy the further down the family tree you go However anti venom cures various kinds of illness including the radioactivity Peter has from the spider Bite so all of Peter's powers are significantly weaker/non existent when around anti venom so your idea still works there's more to it then just his spidey sense though
On the end credits, there was a tribute to Avi Arad which was nicely done by MCU because without him there would never be any Spider Man movies made that we loved over the generations.
This movie was a dream. Still can't believe it actually happened. Seeing all the Spider-Mans on the same screen and fighting all the different villains was surreal. This movie also felt like all the characters from the MCU Spider-Man finally hit their stride.
That was such a good film, it was emotional, it was funny, it had action and suspense, and a great ending. I was watching another review for the film where someone stated that the way they saw the Spider-Man trilogy instead as a Peter Parker trilogy. It's an origin story for the MCU Peter and I'm excited to see what comes next.
I LOVED it. I need my William Dafoe figures now please😩👏🏼 also, my only criticism that I can really say is that I felt like there were too many jokes during serious moments. I felt like it took away from the dire situations these characters were in at times, however it also had its super serious emotional moments. Idk, that’s my only critique. I’m so ready for figures from this film😈
I've seen it twice and I didn't see that. Yes there were alot of jokes and some landed and some dont but they were never used during serious moments. The jokes had their own time. Assuming you've watched it... Aunt May's death and Peter's feeling towards it was never undercut by a joke. Green Goblin only said anything that was funny when he was just Norman but when the Goblin took over he was menacing all the way and never quipped.
I’m just glad studio executives finally understand that movie goers are a lot more intelligent and would totally get the concept of a multiverse and how having multiple versions of characters aren’t as confusing as they thought.
I LOVE that you involved action figures. I come to your channel for figure stuff, and love you integrating them works! I really wanted you to speculate about what figures you want from the movie, and in future reviews.
Glad you enjoyed it, mang! I always catch Thursday MCU premieres with the good crowds but couldn't this time. It's kind of a bummer but as long as I get to see it is what matters.
I think what I loved most in this movie is that it makes the previous movies better. All the returning character were done justly and it all added to the characters that were built before. It didn't take away or diminish them in any way, but it did make those movies even better
I also loved how not a single actor phoned it in on there character. It’s like they somehow amped up their performance from last time. William Dafo Especially
@@ultimateslinger9857 Oh for sure! It was surprising to see how well the actors did. They gave it their all; so much more than we deserved or expected. And some characters were better here than in their own original movies.

Dude! I was just telling my wife how I’m feeling emotional. That was def an emotional ride. I’m so sad that MJ, Ned and Happy all don’t know Peter anymore, but it felt so right and comforting seeing all the Spidey’s together and their relationship/interactions. It really was about as close to a perfect movie as you can get.
Such an amazing, emotional and epic movie. Loved Avengers: Endgame but after watching No Way Home this movie tops it and is now my favorite MCU movie. Definitely seeing it again!! This movie is a love letter to us all Marvel and Spider-Man fans, truly the best Christmas gift and biggest movie of 2021. Loved the plot, character development and effects, didn't feel rushed. Loved the references to other Spider-Man movies. Truly the best Spider-Man movie to date, glad I re watched all the previous Spider-Man movies from Tobey's Spider-Man 1 till Far From Home. Stayed till the very end and only a couple people left during end credits. Excited and can't wait to see where they go and the Marvel legends figures for this for wave 2. Can't wait for Multi-verse of Madness. Definitely recommend this movie and bring tissues. Loved the chemistry between all the characters and actors and the nod to Miles. 🙌🔥💯😎✌🤟🕷🕸
dafoe absolutely killed it... and aunt may. the scene where peter's spider sense is going off and he can't tell why until goblin shows himself is amazing
After seeing this film I NEED a Marvel Legends version of Green Goblin from the end of the film, that ragged looking pulled together green and purple costume with the blades and armor was so cool. I imagine he'll have the hood and goggles but they BETTER include a grinning Willem Dafoe head too. Also I think that we may get Mac Gargan as Venom in the MCU, they teased him four years ago and still haven't addressed him, so I think it'd be a cool way to finally pay that off with something big. Imagine if he shows up as Scorpion in the next film as a secondary villain, gets established as a real threat, then maybe he's Venom in the follow up or a Dark Avengers film.
That was something I loved. Cause you know how in most movies with returning characters they end up just being a cameo or just straight given nothing to do? That was not the case for this one. The spidys and villains did an even more phenomenal job than last go around
I absolutely loved this movie. The ending was so bittersweet and a perfect ending to the homecoming trilogy. Tom Holland Spider-Man's story is just getting started!
16:14 dude I saw the movie at a theater in the mall here where I live. The movie ended and I walked by a store, saw the No Way Home figures and thought the same exact thing. I can't wait, I want those figures NOW!!! Imagine Andrew and Tobey figures with the photo real tech, updated sculpt and articulation. I already know I'm gonna be so happy
Spoilers(?: We definitely need the 3 Spideys figures, my favorite possibility is a 3 pack, the 3 of them with unmasked heads, interchangeable hands and maybe a web or two buuut, using the new Tom fabric suit, just the best 3 Spidey suits out there. I'm really expecting the Tobey figure because the Toy Biz super posable is my favorite 6 inch Spidey figure ever. Also a new wave, Electro (with 2 heads), Sandman (I would love more the SM 3 version but they may release it for an anniversary line) Green Goblin, Lizard, Doc Ock and idk, maybe a variant for whether Andrew with more accessories from his movie and probably May seeing how they already gave us J. J. J. or a Matt Murdock figure. That being said I really would love the Doc Ock to have bendy wires like the Toy Biz one, otherwise I will be good with the old one, as for the Green Goblin I just don't want his wings to be a BaF, it is one of the things that I dislike the most, I get it for Vulture with his big wings but Falcon who even in the Civil War wave had his wings come with him? Pass. I know they may need a BaF, just not be the wings man. And the movie, I love it, best movie ever and I think the way they banished, it was so simple they make me think they will be coming again sooner or later... Maybe in the Spider-Verse movies...?
I miss my Tobey figure, my brother gave it to me but his dog crippled him. Damn I miss him so much. On the bright side, I bought a KO of McFarlane Spidey so I kinda fulfilled my childhood dream :'D

Just got home from seeing it and it was amazing! My theory: Marvel Legends backpack tease is for Ned. He was sporting a very similar backpack when he arrived at the Sanctum. I also am excited for a potential Tobey and Andrew Marvel legends release - box set maybe?
You didn't mention Daredevil at all which was a great surprise. And a side note what the hell is Nick Fury doing in space all this time. He trusted a Skrull to give Peter those glasses which pretty much started all of this. Can't wait to find out.
The only part that it was kinda dissapointed was that scene when sandman was cured.. they literally re-used the subway scene from spiderman 3. Beside that, i really loved the movie
I believe they edited shots from Spider-Man 3 of sandman at the end of the film when we saw the human form. I believe Thomas Haden Church only came back to voice act. That would explain why he’s entirely sand throughout the film aswell
you’re so excited about the movie you forgot to mention a certain MM,DD :) really enjoyed the movie and can’t wait for what hasbro gonna give us for this movie..
I just watched the movie just today, it was spectacular. I noticed the integrated suit marvel legends figure, the hands look inaccurate and he didn’t wear the gauntlet in the movie. Do you see hasbro making another second homemade Spider-Man suit? I actually like that second homemade suit, it looks very accurate to the comics.
Was so happy with the Tagalog scene in this movie! Glad it brought back some awesome memories for you and your friend. Always take your shoes off in an asian household! hahaha
Loved your review, I remember watching your movie figure reviews as the years went along with the different spiderman adaptations and really appreciating your opinion on em. Its really great that the movie hit an emotional level for you as well with the scene of Ned's mom, I geeked out so hard watching this movie and defs my favorite movie of all time as well. Also awesome that they redeemed Andrew Garfields spidey who was I always saw as the underdog, I feel he really gave it his all in his performance and just had the most realistic and coolest spiderman suits. So satisfied with this movie.
Holy shit I cannot express how happy I was watching this movie It felt like I was a kid again. I mean I grew up with Tobey and Andrew as well but mainly Tobey, he was my childhood hero alongside Superman. I mean I watched his movies so many times. I thought the villians were really well done like Sandman being sort of a hero now that was sick, Electro and Lizards redesigns were incredible, Doc Ock was nostalgic as hell and Green Goblin was brutal af the fight in Happy's apartment was insane. I'm glad that the 3 Spider-Men cured the villians and gave them their lives back. I hope Hasbro releases a second No Way Home Wave with Tobey and Andrew redesigns with all the Villians and Green Goblin's Glider as BAF And honestly I don't care that people think me collecting Action Figures is weird
Great review man!!! I went to watch it yesterday and I have no words for it! I LOVE it and I also stayed away from social media I didn’t want to be spoiled too… very emotional to see my fav Spider-Man (tobey) on screen again!!! I was hoping for a Venom/Spider-Man cross over but At leats we will have a proper venom story in the end…great movie that’s all I have to say!!!
I LOVED this movie! This movie was a trip down nostalgia lane no doubt; with Alfred Molina, Wilhem Defoe, and of course my favorite and childhood Spider-Man in Tobey Maguire returning. Another highlight for me in this movie was Tom Holland's emotional performance when Aunt May died and his anger toward the Green Goblin and Tobey jumps in....god that was great. Charlie Cox as Daredevil! That was nice to see him officially in an MCU movie project. The Venom goop left behind..that was crazy! Overall, this movie was very good and it's defiantly in my top 10 and possibly top 5 in the MCU. The group of people I saw it with made a loud pop when Andrew Garfield showed up; I don't like his Spider-Man that much. 10/10 rating for me. There were a lot more amazing moments but I'm still processing the movie as I did see it yesterday.
Holy shit, the finale sequence. Perfect. The ending. Perfect. The 2 after credits scene. Perfect. THE COSTUME, PERFECT!!!! OH MY GOD!!!!! Also WATCH HAWKEYE! HE MAY SHOW UP SINCE THE ENDING SCENE FINISHES WITH HIM ARRIVING AT ROCKEFELLER CENTER DUE TO GUNSHOTS HAPPENING. WHICH IS WHERE THE LAST EPISODE IS TAKING PLACE. Also… SHUMA FUCKING GORATH IS COMING TO THE MCU. Process that.
I was talking to my friends, imagine if Stan Lee was still here to give a cameo. I would love when Ned did the portal for him to show up or something like that. Will be missed always!
I desperately need a Marvel Legends Amazing Spider-Man 2 Spider-Man figure. I never even considered the original one they did in 2014 to be a movie figure to me. Aside from the Spider symbol, that figure looked nothing like the movie design. The Electro figure was also inaccurate too. Honestly I would love if they made new Spider-Man, Electro, and Green Goblin figures from that movie since I actually really liked their designs. Also I hope we get to see a Doc Ock figure soon since he was shown in that first trailer. A new Lizard, Goblin, Electro, and Sandman are all figures we need after this movie. Along with a Tobey figure.
Jamie's tease to Miles morales, was that when he was defeated and always thought Andrew Garfield a Spider-man was hoping he was sum black kid from the bronkes? I loved the Hobgoblin tease, Where Ned heard about Tonya best friend trying to kill him before dying "it was So sad, so sad"... Then goes up to Tom Holland's and says he'll never betray him. We'll see Ned...
With this movie and the 20th Anniversary of the original Raimi film next year, it’s only a matter of time before Hasbro announces modern ML’s of the original trilogy and TASM.
I am totally excited to have both a lethal protector venom in Tom Hardy’s and a villainous venom to fight Spider-Man in the mcu. As a huge venom man couldn’t be happier to see that.
Loved this movie really. And at first I was a little sad when there were posts that both spideys won't be there😅😅... I saw them and i was soooooo pleased (mostly for getting a legends figure of both😂😂and rest for nostalgia)
Has to should totally do a 3 pack with raimi spidey, tasm 2 spidey and an upgraded more movie accurate integrated suit, with Tom, Tobey and Andrew alternate heads.
What I disliked was that they reused scenes from Spider-man 2 and The Amazing Spider-man. With Doctor Connors being human again. That's from the ending of the movie of TASM. And Spider-man 3, sandman's scenes where he was human are from the train scenes with the black suit. Other than that, I loved the movie.
I think we might see one of these Spider-Men in Across the SpiderVerse, could be a cameo, but I would love to see it. Also seen the movie 2x. Loved it a lot!
Quick question though hope you answer it lol, do you think they'll involve Venom with Flash? Since they seem to try to fit him into every spidey movie i feel like they're hinting it right?
I agree Stan lee cameo was missed. But Sinister Five? I know Venom was included because he came in the end but was expecting to see vulture or someone else fight to get the official sinister six team up.
I wish Hasbro would rerelease the toybiz Super Posable Spider-Man. Honestly I think Hasbro should do what Toybiz did and give their figures that special posability we don’t get anymore. Interchangeable hands get me so angry.
it was cool seeing their human faces but they just reused footage from their previous respective movies. the voice for lizard was someone entirely different too.
Anyone think that the spell at the end will affect Tobey and Andrew’s Peter Parker??? Even though Venom is my all time favorite villain, Willem Dafoe sealed the deal making Green Goblin the goat of live action villains! I hope Sony will capitalize on this and make another Tobey and Andrew Spider-Man movie(s)…
I love the final red and blue suit, but I don’t think it looks like the Spider Armor MK IV other than the colors. I think it actually looks like the classic Romita Sr. suit, that you are wearing on your T-shirt. I hate the fact that they gave Michelle the Watson Last name, that pissed me off over the top, because that means the real MJ, Mary Jane is never going to appear in these movies. I loved the ending, and I think that is a pretty great movie over all, but it is not perfect by any means, there are plotholes that other videos are going to enlist for sure. I love Spider-Man and i think the movie is great, but I’m going to be honest and say what most people won’t: I don’t think it is the best Spider-Man movie ever at all. Spider-Man 2 and Into the Spiderverse are better in my opinion. Had a good time for sure.
I never liked the previous Maguire/Garfield movies, but this one almost made me go back and watch them. (Though I'm not about to do that to myself again. 😂)
I would rly love to see a second wave for No Way Home, with Andrew and Tobey, Green Goblin, Electro, Sandman and Lizard. With Goblin wings BAF. Then Doc Ock would be a deluxe figure with his tentacles
They have reset Spiderman to where he is supposed to be by the time he graduate’s high school. It’s like he is destined to be alone and miserable at that stage of his life like Toby and Andrew’s Spidermen.
Honestly my biggest problem wit the movie was the aunt may scene . Personally, it was stpd and lowkey corny . Cause 1. She got HIT and (unbeknownst to us at first) empaled by the glider 😑 and 2. He threw a whole pumpkin bomb damn near past her body and blew the whole lobby up😑😑😑😑😑it made no sense for her to get up like she just slipped and hurt her shoulder. And then out of nowhere drops the iconic lines. That’s just me, if everybody else loved it and it made sense to them then that’s good but come on.
I loved it soooo much it is definitely my favourite movie of all time!! When Andrew and Toby showed up i almost cried haha. I wish we saw more of Matthew Murdock thought like in his daredevil suit
For me maguire should have definitely don THE LAST STAND Suit and he should have kept the damn beard it would have been perfect for this , also 1st post credits scene don't quote me on this but I'm pretty sure it could be Agent Venom.
This movie was a lot of fun. Lots of fan service for those that enjoyed the previous incarnations. Great bookend for the Andrew Garfield spider-man. 👍👍👍
Man the movie is f amazing, crazy awesome, everything was perfect . And nobody is mentioning the part that Spiderman's lawyer shows up? Mathew Murdock or can I say Daredevil? 🤔 Holy $#!¥ I want all Marvel Legends possible from this movie!

I'm so happy that Tom Holland Spider-Man isn't Iron Boy jr. Anymore the second I saw him make that homemade suit at the end I knew he is Spider-Man
That’s what I was thinking! He’s his own man/hero now
Loved your review, I remember watching your movie figure reviews as the years went along with the different spiderman adaptations and really appreciating your opinion on em.
The way Tom looked up at the police before he left was so menacing
No way home for best picture this year! Make it happen Oscars.
Great breakdown, I love how you incorporated the action figures!
Surprised that you didn’t mention Matt Murdock and him catching the brick! Awesome crossover scene!
Man that Tia Louisa story made me teared up man. Wherever you are tia, thanks for making Shartimus such a geek.
It's great to see your passion towards this character and movie. I agree with everything you said!
I was genuinely surprised as to how much the film pulled from the ps4 game. Not an excessive amount, but more than I ever thought they would.
I hope Hasbro releases a second No Way Home Wave with Tobey and Andrew redesigns with all the Villians and Green Goblin's Glider as BAF
And honestly I don't care that people think me collecting Action Figures is weird
The classic suit in the end did it for me love this movie
Man I hope I get this excited for a movie one day. I'm sure when the X-men arrive to the MCU I'll be over the moon.
Hasbro: ***Makes Toby and Andrew Spider-Man figures.***
***Cobwebs not painted***
You forgot the Matt Murdock cameo 🙌🏽🔥🔥🔥
Shartimus you didn’t talk about Matt Murdock!!!
it was an overwhelmingly emotional film, too brilliant
With this movie and the 20th Anniversary of the original Raimi film next year, it’s only a matter of time before Hasbro announces modern ML’s of the original trilogy and TASM.
Love the shirt you're wearing where can I get one?
Kinda wished Tobey’s Spiderman interacted with Green Goblin. At least we got to see Andrew somewhat do that with Electro and Lizard
There was an old guy with long hair in the donut shop where MJ worked. For me that felt like a nod to a Stan Lee cameo.
Lol what about Matt Murdock ? That was crazy how they included him aswell
Quick question though hope you answer it lol, do you think they'll involve Venom with Flash? Since they seem to try to fit him into every spidey movie i feel like they're hinting it right?
Great review bro
Can't believe recommended Amazing Spiderman 2 over Spiderman: Homecoming, Far From Home or into the Spider verse.
I loved that matt murock scene
I agree Stan lee cameo was missed.
But Sinister Five? I know Venom was included because he came in the end but was expecting to see vulture or someone else fight to get the official sinister six team up.
I was also thinking about Stan lee while watching that movie he would’ve loved seeing all three of them together may he Rest In Peace
Tom suit was same as Steve ditko suit am I right?
Is there any chance they’re going to make mafex or SHF for the Spider-Men?
Electro is a geek, to me he was legitimately interested in knowing if it was Peter's Legos.
Its great to see Shartimus human' side. RIP Zack Hellsing's mom
Good video love the talk
This movie was an amazing experience, this movie has heart and character. Truly made me happy to watch!
Wasn’t there a small Stan lee cameo in feast I think one of the pictures on the board were him
Anyone think that the spell at the end will affect Tobey and Andrew’s Peter Parker??? Even though Venom is my all time favorite villain, Willem Dafoe sealed the deal making Green Goblin the goat of live action villains!
I hope Sony will capitalize on this and make another Tobey and Andrew Spider-Man movie(s)…
I can't wait for them to do figures for the movie! I'm gonna make sure I set a budget for all the villains and Spider-Men
I love the final red and blue suit, but I don’t think it looks like the Spider Armor MK IV other than the colors.
I love all three Spiderman I grew up with all 3 and love there villains this movie was just a full love letter to us spidey fans 🕷️🕷️🕷️🕸️🕸️🕸️
Loved the movie. It lived up to my expectations, and my expectations were very high. They delivered big time.
Probably The Greatest Spider Man Movie Ever
I never liked the previous Maguire/Garfield movies, but this one almost made me go back and watch them. (Though I'm not about to do that to myself again. 😂)
Peter won’t tell MJ bc he doesn’t want her to get hurt again🥲🥺 This movie was 10/10
I would rly love to see a second wave for No Way Home, with Andrew and Tobey, Green Goblin, Electro, Sandman and Lizard. With Goblin wings BAF. Then Doc Ock would be a deluxe figure with his tentacles
Nah man, I'm sick of wings being BaF's I rather him being Deluxe or something
@@IDK_Inc. yeah same, I’m just choosing what Marvel would do realistically.
@@FDNProductions I know, they could even make the tentacles a BaF lol.
They have reset Spiderman to where he is supposed to be by the time he graduate’s high school. It’s like he is destined to be alone and miserable at that stage of his life like Toby and Andrew’s Spidermen.
The movie was pretty good. I give it 10/10
Honestly my biggest problem wit the movie was the aunt may scene .
I just got back from seeing “Spider-Man No way home”, and it was glorious!!!
I love Ock whoopin Spidey's ass just like the Ditko days
For me maguire should have definitely don THE LAST STAND Suit and he should have kept the damn beard it would have been perfect for this , also 1st post credits scene don't quote me on this but I'm pretty sure it could be Agent Venom.
Ngl, while it'd look cool, I'm glad as hell Tobey did not wear te Last Stand suit.
@Spidey Fan 2002 the movie sure played it out like it was though 😏
This movie was a lot of fun. Lots of fan service for those that enjoyed the previous incarnations. Great bookend for the Andrew Garfield spider-man. 👍👍👍
Man the movie is f amazing, crazy awesome, everything was perfect . And nobody is mentioning the part that Spiderman's lawyer shows up? Mathew Murdock or can I say Daredevil? 🤔 Holy $#!¥
I want all Marvel Legends possible from this movie!
