I personally don't think the whole mistress death thing would have worked as well in live action as it did in the comics, I personally prefer his movie motive

    • @KetchupBlogs
      @KetchupBlogs 6 лет назад +18

I'm glad Death wasn't involved in this; personally, because Thanos was a thirsty fuccboi in the comics haha. This gave him a "hero of my own story" motivation. I liked it much more than the OG Gauntlet story motivation.

Spoilers ahead. You have been warned.
On Mistress Death: don't know if it was intentional or not, but when Red Skull first showed up, I thought he was Lady Death based on the look. So that's a possible nod to her.

That’s one of my few critiques of the movie but holding off on complaining til I see where it goes. Simply because of the numbers thing, some of them should have been part of the 50%, but like I said, withholding judgement til I see how it pans out.

When Thor showed up in Wakanda I lost my damn mind and stood up cheering. Good thing I was in the back row. Also, the friend I saw Infinity War with geeked out hard during the credits scene. She was gasping saying "It's Captain Marvel! It's Captain Marvel!" And when the symbol popped up she started cheering.

That green screen joke was awesome, especially with the gauntlet. I definitely have played with the gauntlet more since the movie. Thor was definitely awesome but I wish he was able to do more before Thanos did his final thing. I loved Dr. Strange's expanded powers, creativity, and the more no-nonsense personality which I feel like fits the character more. That team was excellent in every scene. Maybe I'm just biased towards Spidey and Iron man

Shart, I love your enthusiasm!! Saw it today myself and I loved it too! A definite movie for old school (and new school) comic geeks. Based on who was left standing, I guess the Avengers in the next movie are going to consist of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, War Machine, Hulk/Bruce Banner, Rocket Raccoon, Nebula, and most likely Captain Marvel (and maybe Ant-Man and/or The Wasp, and possibly Hawkeye). I think everybody else was pretty much dust in the wind by the time the credits rolled.

Been a long time since I watched on of these. Saw this movie last week with my Father, Brother, and my Brother's Girlfriend. And I have to say this movie rocked. I did hear of (spoiler)'s death through some comments and some fan art on "DeviantArt", and wow, while everyone else's deaths were just going poof, (spoiler)'s death was really done well, really hit home in the feels (even though I know (spoiler) will be back after "Avengers:Untitled"). Great review man.

  • @Quickdrawn94

This was the first superhero movie to make me cry. First, I cried when Thor, Groot, and Rocket showed up in Wakanda to turn the tide. That battle was already amazing on its own to get me misty eyed, but having three of my favorite MCU characters show up with the music blaring, it was so beautiful.
And of course I cried when they were all dying one by one, but when Spidey was going, I’m with ya on that one. I was a gross sobbing mess up until the after credits scene.
Easily in the top 4 MCU for me behind both Guardians movies and Homecoming.

I know a lotta fans think he's a clever surprise and I get it too, knowing his connection to the tesseract, but when he showed up, I just thought... "why him? he sucks". The Living Tribunal (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Living_Tribunal) fits this role better, and he has played an important part in the comics regarding the infinity stones, so why not use this chance to introduce a piece of possible future for the MCU rather than bringing back a character most of the audience don't remember?
I wasn't actually asking that question. Red Skull just bums me out for some reason. Cheers, man.

Shart! this movie was incredible, there is just too much to talk about!
    My favorite things:
1.- Thor: He was my favorite here! because when the avengers were in the middle of the battle, like in the very climax when everything was breaking appart... he came in Gandalf style. Making a huge fricking name for himself!
2.- Ebony Maw: a.k.a Squidward, a.k.a the best member of the black order! I just wish he and the black order were a little bit more dangerous... however since Thanos was supposed to steal the scenes I guess the black order acted the way they were supposed to.
3.-Thanos: He was cool, he was powerful, he was almost perfect! my only gripe was that he wasnt that cruel or evil as he was on the Infinity Gauntlet storyline
Dislikes: I wanted more cap... what happened to hawkeye? WHY DR STRANGE?!? I WAS SHOCKED WHEN HE BANISHED... :/

now that ive finally watched it and cant wait to see it again, ive now allowing myself to watch this video. as far as adam warlock, james gunn has said in a couple of facebook live q&a that adam warlock will have nothing to do with avengers 4/5, but he will be part of the next phase. this makes me hope that the next big bad guy might be Magus.

The division of the Black Order was well handled and Proxima is the MVP for the Black Order. War Machine and Falcon dynamic was refreshing seeing how they fought each other in CACW

Yo Shartimus, funny how we see eye to eye on your reviews! To somewhat nitpick I feel ya on "Death". I thought the perfect opportunity to include Death was that scene toward the end when the little girl (Gamora) had her back to Thanos. When she turned around it would have been dope if it was Death. -Peace

waaweegee ? The reason is the writers need them for the next movie but there is no explanation in the movie. Thanos says when he kills half of a population it's completely random to keep it fair. The ones who live just got lucky

    • @jetteyes2064

eastjm80 aight that makes sense. I just thought it felt TOO convenient that the original 4 avengers were left alive. I thought there was an in depth reason or something

I like war machine a lot because Don Cheadle (actor) is a jazz musician. He played Miles Davis in the Miles Ahead movie. And in interviews you hear Don say that he wanted to be a musician more than an actor, but he thought being an actor would be easier.
Shartimus, if you didn’t know that I’m sure that you like war machine even more.

Spidey's use of the line " I don't wanna go " hit me so hard, because a few years ago before before he regenerated to a new doctor/actor he used that same line. and it was heart breaking.

When spiderman died. The song fall apart by post malone played in my mind and I was broken. This movie was more than I was ready to enjoy. The sacrifices and deaths were all felt and meant so much. Thor crying infront of rocket got me. Iron man fighting till his last breath was so inspiring. Wanda making a decision which no one could envy was heartbreaking. Movie of the decade for sure.

I think when it comes to Cap's shield, it was more of a choice to not have similar scenes and stealing the spotlight from Stormbreaker flying through enemies. I agree Strange was my MVP as well and he saw the future where they win which makes me think that motivated his choice to save Tony the way he did.

I liked Dr. Strange in this too, and I might've picked him as my MVP as well, but dude that scene with Thor breaking down in front of Rocket....that stole it for me. I almost teared up alongside Thor; you could tell he's been in a state of shock/traumatized with all that he's been through. Along with everything else he did in thus movie, I think he stole the show for me. Wish he would've kept the eye patch a bit longer tho, would've looked so badass with his Ultimate Thor look after getting Stormbreaker

Loved it! Already seen it twice. I walked out of the theater and I was like, "Nope, I need more" and went back for another round. In regards of Spider-Man, he is my favorite superhero and all, but I´ve been having a lot of serious issues and significat complains with him in every kind of media (comics, tv, movies) for the last 10 years, so when he died I wasn´t sad nor mad. If anything I was kindda happy. When he starts the whole "I don´t wanna die" thing, that really pissed me off, because he looked very weak and coward. I don´t care if he is a teenager, he is a hero and in that line of work one should be prepared to die at any moment. The others were. Peter was a teen in the ultimate universe and he died with a smile. Anyway aside from that and the post credits scene (which I found boring) I really loved the movie. Need to see it again.

I never went into a movie theatre that was as excited as I was. When the movie started, people clapped. When Cap came out of the shadows, they clapped. It felt so good to be in a theatre with fans as happy as I am.
Also, I cosplayed as spider-man, and I saw some guy who cosplayed as The Grandmaster.

Did anyone else notice how they used a part of the Onslaught storyline on the Hulk when he Crash Landed in Dr. Strange's place? In the comic the same thing happened to the Juggernaut. And after being beating badly, Juggernaut said "Onslaught is coming" and the Hulk said "Thanos is Coming." I thought that was pretty cool.
