ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor while maintaining appropriate language for all ages, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

Wow!!!!!!! I thought my Toys R Us made a mistake of putting those dolls in the action figure aisle but now see it was on purpose. I did get a Scarlet Witch/Vision two pack at mine as well. I plan to keep them in the package with the Toys R Us exclusive emblem on them as a keep sake wrapped in a Toys R Us bag.

If it wasn't for your thumbnail, I would've never tried to get the Scarlet Witch & Vision 2 pack. I thought all hopes were lost cause scalpers might've gotten em already & TRU is closing too. So after seeing this vid yesterday, I called my local TRU and they said they have some so I went there to grab one.. Turns out that they're currently stocking some stuff and they cleaned up their aisles too unlike before ( 2 weeks ago when I went there ).

Nice you went to the Toys R Us at Foster City I haven’t been there in awhile. I have only gone to close one to me which is the Hayward one. I use to go to the one in Colma which is a Baby r us now back in the day.

i went to my local TRU today there was still plenty on shelves,but not much i wanted. i have my eye on that ackbar/officer 2 pack,hoping it goes even lower,they still had 22 of them left.

Toys R us was my child hood
Decent selection all things considered. The TRU here has 0 black series other then Jyn/Cassian 22/23 peg warmers and admiral ackbar 2 pack. Transformers are picked clean. Haven't seen anything new since the sale began. Even at 15 percent off, their sale is still priced higher then normal stores. Covers tax plus about 7 percent off, which is still higher then Target/Walmart. Not to mention Target/Walmart are in the middle of clearance sales which are hurting TRU sales...who knew lol.

My TRU finally made the jump to 15% off on action figures which made me laugh. I'll come back when you are really serious about blowing out your inventory. Until then, there's nothing but crap that you couldn't give away in there.
