    I remember seeing P.O.S live at Warped Tour, in Mountain View, CA, waaaay back when I was in high school. It must’ve been around my Sophomore year, so around 2010. He had a small audience, maybe around 30 people. On stage, he said he loved the energy of the crowd and hadn’t had a show like that in a while so he ran into the audience and had everyone surround him. He was rapping his set. It literally was the best concert experience ever!

    About 12 years ago I was sadly managing a franchise deli, but we had a poster board and since I was the manager when some ground team came in talking about POS's next show I said POST IT BRO. He then mentioned kidneys, and I just stopped him and said put up what you need to but I'm already in his corner.
    We spent the rest of the week listening to Ryhmeslayers artists. Thanks for all that all of you do, you keep the rest of us grinding moving. POS and Doom to Atmosphere and Aesop, supporting the underground helped change our culture and it will pay dividends friends.

So I was typing in stuff like “Stop motion paper cutout in a toy car music video.” Remembered the cups and bam. Had to dodge that Anna Kendrick jam to find his shout out to, Alegra Oxborough, is what brought this gem back into my life. One of the best underground rappers. I like rap music like this because there is a story behind it. Most hip hop artists like Drake and Lil Wayne talk about how many bitches they can get it always about sex and gang banging most of the time, I like like hip hop artists like POS, Kid Cudi, and Lupe Fisaco, because they come from the heart and tells a story in the music and I like that. To me it makes it more easier to relate to the artist if they tell you they are human and they have problems too.

    • @obewonknobee
      @obewonknobee 9 лет назад

      +Korteland Pitts your right but i consider drake and lil wayne and other mainstream artists "rappers" because they all sound the same but have a different name they all talk about the same thing over and over again, hip hop is what from artists like POS atmosphere, brother ali, immortal techiniuque, dizzy wright...they all do have a story a tell...

    • @lucky112
      @lucky112 9 лет назад +1

      So they're are a thing called sub genres rock has it blues has it and hip hop has it glam rock of the eighties was the same party and party......I don't know who people have to pretend like hip hop can't party and stuff that's how it started in house party to get the crowd hype before they played the break dance music..... And they talked about money cars and women...and some talked about relatable problems....just because someone sticks the the fancy and lusty side of life doesn't mean they aren't human it actually means they are more human. We all lust, dream become horny. Want companionship and security.

      Everyone makes mistakes and you cant control the past.but you can control the present and make up for the mistakes if thats possible and never repeat them again.you dont deserve the treatment you give yourself,if you dont continue being in the same circle of bad decisions.also depressed people often blame themselves for things that are not really done by them.you should also take care of your diet and exercise cause these two contribute to mental health a lot.

    Rumour has it that one time Oloff was sat next to Jar Jar Binks on a flight. Jar Jar kept kicking the chair in front of him and generally being obnoxious, nobody knew what to do. Eventually one of the flight attendants came over and asked Oloff if he would perform one of his songs to calm Jar Jar down, and when Oloff began rapping the first verse to Doing It Stealthy, Jar Jar immediately relaxed. To this day the two are still close friends.

    I caught this song on TV like at 3 in the morning. Great song, great video. It just shows that MTV gives good hiphop and not that mainstream bullshit but only during the dumbest hours.

    The beginning of the track is AMAZING. With the cups and clapping. So good.

    I seem 2 notice that there R 2 groups of people that listen 2 rap. There's those who still listen 2 Hip-Hip and appreciate tha pioneers and those who listen 2 rap that comes out these days which is so basic, repetitive, and 4getful of our Hip-Hop pioneers who've paved tha way. I'm N tha first group.
