Gyser på armer , for noen vakre stemmer Og hvilken sang dette er. Jeg er i en spesielle stemning, nå like før ettårsdagen av en kjær og nær som ikke lenger er her
In a way, both. Song is swedish, and so are the lyrics, but it's hard for most norwegians to sing or talk in swedish without a notion of the norwegian language slipping in. We talk a bit more clipped then our neighbours, who have a more fluent language that suits songs very well :D That said, it doesnt apply to this singer, who is english :p
Jarl Lillebø He does a great job indeed! There is a clear accent to the Swedish words, but they are still easily understandable. But to answer the original question, it is definitely Swedish.
@MsScruffy4 That was an unnecessary response to herkulesafc. Yes, his response leaves some to be desired in the grammar department but what music he listens to or games he play has no bearing whatsoever on the validity of his comment, and as it happened he -did- answer your question. So if anybody are to shape up, respectfully; it is you. We don't need to nitpick on every single mistake out there on the web.
While he has a lovely voice and I enjoyed listening to his voice it absolutely cannot compare to Gabriella's version. She was beat to a pulp by her husband she was humiliated in front of her children and her community and the emotion of that experience was transported into her song.........and nothing can compare.
So I look at this page by herkulesafc - the comment with the poor grammar. And it is full of violent video crap games and probably some black metal music . I thought this was Norway-- good grief -- shape up. Don't be the US and worse. I guess I thought Norway was better.
Wow, kjempefin sangen, Norwegian, godt å finne, å høre, Oslo fagottkor.
Vakkert gjenhør, viktig tekst,
Herlig sang.

I love this ,,,, are they singing swedish or norwegian?

@aurora1987bink What!! Hekkan!!
Det tunnaste jag hört
I just asked for a definition. The dumb comment was to me, but I did not write it.
I like it with the voice of men :) Better than women voices!
