I have multiple single barrels from Frey ranch that I love (bourbon, 100% rye and 100% wheat). And others that I strongly dislike. But FR has a very polarizing flavor profile among enthusiasts-strong love or hate. But I’m definitely a fan and it’s one of the only whiskeys that I can taste prominent and distinct grain notes and actually really enjoy and appreciate that flavor profile. I think it would be a spectacular pick for D&D to do, just find the profile you want.
Yo Cam! Just wanted to let you know, I work in Columbus, born and raised, and I live in Clark County. If you ever need samples, let me know, I would love to get some your way, or trade some! I don't have a lot of super rare stuff just yet, I hope to with time... but I have some good stuff. Cheers!
I always get a very strong “flower stem” or flower shop note on the nose with Frey ranch. Usually some butterscotch on the pallet
Dude you described a French ranch farm strength to a tee, I immediately thought of it with those notes.

As soon as went away from the FR I was saying “Nooooooooo”! Nice job still Cam!
Poured some Coy Hill 2024.........let's do this!
Frey Ranch tastes like the farm to me. I say it tastes like tilled earth. But i really like it.
More buttered popcorn? Is there a movie theater next door? 🤣

Hope you don't want a Frey Ranch Barrel...
Frey Ranch tastes awful to me. Confirms also that I don't like Willett products either that they're similar enough to be confused.
