Hello there, my name is Gabriel and I play the character of young Noah in Xenoblade 3. It's AWESOME to see my character, to actually hear my voice and, to see the finished product! It's been an absolute privilege to be involved in this and it's VERY exciting to see everything come together in this way.
Hey mate, you did a great job! I hope to hear you in more roles. All the voice actors did an amazing job!
My name is Brandon and I did the voice of Link in breath of the wild
My name is Jose and I did the Spanish voice of master chief (jefe maestro) in god of war
Not buying the game now
My name is Jürgen and I did the German voice for Spyro the dragon in Metal Gear Solid
Holy crap, ACG is reviewing a Nintendo game?? I love to see it! Especially with a franchise I love like Xenoblade Chronicles 🥰
Its true. Story bought copy but true
@@ACGreviews Well, PLZ keep reviewing XENOBLADE titles because they are some of the very best game designs regardless of genre, imo. From the devs of XENOSAGA, their latest franchise delivers. Question: How did you get a "Store bought copy" before release date?
Fun fact: a few years ago, ACG’s game of the year was Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle
@@ACGreviews KARAK-ACG the voice of the people!
@@TheSGBrown they're not though
Nintendo struck gold by bringing Monolith on as a first party dev. Weirdly seeing how well XC3 is doing, gets me more excited to see their contributions in the Breath of The Wild sequel.
2nd party
I don’t see how that could be weird
Monolithsoft is carrying hard, they helped out in Animal Crossing, both Splatoons and both BoTWs. They solved something about the switch that no one else has yet.
@@mrmwm5446 Is it their fault BOTW2 is taking so long tho?
Yes .. But imagine a world where Xenoblade 3 was developed for PS5/XSX/PC. Damn, they would do amazing things with a better powered system.
I do not understand how you don't have a million subs. you are by far the best review channel out there. I appreciate you're honesty saying you are only 70 hours in and haven't completed it yet bravo sir bravo. thanks for the review
And if he said that he didn't like the game?
@@SENATORPAIN1 what does that have to do with my comment ?
@@SENATORPAIN1 he wouldn't be cause ACG likes good games
He does now :D
What technical marvel's of a video game these are. The world they bring to life is so big. WTF! Insane!
The exploration is only trumped by maybe ELden Ring and the Horizon games
@@ACGreviews that's not something I ever expected to hear about a Nintendo game lol. The world looks enormous. Can't wait to dump 200+ hours into this like I did the last one
and now think ahead how this game could be on PC. But before Nintendo release a game on PC the hell freezes.
i mean Monster Hunter Rise on PC is a blast. Even Sony does it. so Nintendo?when?
@@ACGreviews Horizon is a snoozfest, breath of the wild and Elden Ring are the undisputed exploration GOATS.
Xenoblade chronicles X on the wii u was like that, I couldn't believe how they pulled off the graphics and scale of the world
They really pushing the limits of the Switch but goes to show you how much optimization matters, Monolith does an amazing job once again gotta give them props for sure.
I saw Xenoblade reviews dropped this morning and looked through my subscriptions deciding which I wanted to watch. Saw an ACG review for the game and knew that's the opinion I wanted. Love your stuff and never expected a Xenoblade review from you. Really glad to hear it's a blast, Xenoblade is my favorite JRPG series and can't wait to get my hands on 3
less biased than other reviewers for sure, I like him
Now I’m just waiting for gameranx and easy allies
I have 1 and thorna and just bought 2, haven't played them yet.
@@4trym dang, and you don't have time to play 2 before 3 comes out.
No need to rush though, it's a singleplayer game, play them in order!!!
@@escapetherace1943 thats my plan, but I have a ridiculously big backlog, very little time to play and MH sunbreak is hoarding my play time 🤣.
Once again ACG dropping the best reviews around. I have never missed a Xeno game and am looking forward to 200 hours in this one.
Played the 3ds version of Xenoblade 1 and fell in love with the series. The combat reminded me of an MMO but with a JRPG story, instantly fell in love. Bought Xeno DE and 2 and binged tf out of them back to back. Loved them. Lost my switch and got a new one, gonna run through Torna DLC before I buy this and I absolutely cannot wait to dive deep into this one. Easily one of my favorite RPG franchises ever.
If I can offer one tip for the Torna DLC:
Sidequests. Sidequests, sidequests and more sidequests. Do as many as you can as the story stops progressing eventually until you've done a certain amount.
I disliked that system originally but it serves a purpose narratively. Its a great expansion and worth all the money and more. You're in for a treat!
@@peterb1x Totally agree. The best expansion I have ever played! If you loved everything Xenoblade so far then you are in for a doozy with the DLC. Also, I’ve been playing XC3 a lot since release and let me say, the fun just keeps on kicking!
Also try Xenoblade X if you have a Wii U, it's overlooked but incredible!
It's so refreshing, a game, where you have to stay focused during combat, use your brain and actual mechanics, complex mechanics not just button mashing and maybe reaction based counters or something like that
I remember XB2, it took me a really long time to truly understand the combat, but boy, once I got it, it was amazing, barely ever had so much fun in a game
Was on the fence about this one as a newcomer, might just have to pick it up now. Also love the music sound and voice section of your reviews! Very important to me as an audio engineer and VGM enthusiast :)
Yea same here never played any of them. It looks really interesting and I'm really tempted to get it.
No need to play them in any particular order.
@@viceanterra3 There IS a suggested (by the devs) game order for story coherence. . .
@@TheSGBrown no there isn't. The developers said it can be played in any order.
Wow, can't wait! For those intimidated by all of the stuff on screen, don't be. You'll be eased in to the battle concepts (going on the previous titles) and it will all click.
Omg no idea why I am so excited that you are actually reviewing this!!! My problem is I have no idea how to play the previous ones. The combat is extremely difficult to me
The combat was my biggest issue with the first one. Couldn't get into it
It clicked for me when I looked at it like a rhythm game
You can change the difficulty at any time and it changes nothing. Just lower it. The game is probably one of the easiest JRPGs in existence even without doing that, though, it's just confusing to a lot of people.
These games give you plenty of time to screw around and figure out how the combat works. That’s the beauty of these games. While I never recommend playing out of order, you should either play this or Xenoblade 1 first as 2s tutorials can be very confusing.
Wait how is the combat hard? It looks complicated but it's really not... And this one simplifies it even more. Give it a try you'll love it!
Was expecting to hear more about the narrative, but you got me super excited for a game I was only loosely interested in. The way you explain how everything you do matters and feeds into the game's various combat mechanics is exactly why I *LOVE* Persona's 3-5.
I am so glad JRPGs lately upped their graphics and (especially!) English voice acting. I am one of those dummies who just can´t get immersed with Japanese voice acting and suffering through some older JRPGs english dub was.. well, you probably know. Excited to jump into this series as it was on my to-do list for about a year now.
Thanks for the no bull review ill be buying it because of you long time rpg/jrpg player who hasent played a Xenoblade game yet looking forward to it!
As someone who played Xenogears when it came out, and watched as the spirit of that game and the story has carried on for over two decades as the teams involved honed their skills in game development and storytelling; seeing others appreciate the work here causes a bit of welling up in the eyes. You shall be as gods. You will know our names.
I loved Xeno 2 and was excited for this. This sounds even better than I’d hoped.
I’m so excited for this game!!! 🥰 so glad to hear you like it. The combat in XB2 was like playing an instrument or it even felt like what conducting a symphony looked like. Looking forward to combat here!
The grass thing on the floor is because of your camera position, if the camera gets to close to the ground they don't render the grass around the camera to ensure that the player gets a good view all the time. Just adjust the camera height a little bit and you'll have all the grass render around your character.
Great review! I just got a switch and I've been hearing a lot about this game and appreciate you took the time to make a review for it!
The story was amazing. Played 85hrs on easy mode as i'm not into complex battle systems, i prefer action rpgs but this mode let me enjoy the game as fights could be won without too much thought into any kind of battle mastery thank goodness. Love exploring worlds, collecting, missions, good stories and this scratched that itch.
This music is some of the best I've ever heard in an RPG and I've been playing since the golden era.
So glad you loved it, that's cemented a buy from me! I mean, I was 100% going to get it anyway, now I just feel way better about it! Great review and video as always!
I almost never comment on videos, but I’m making an exception because this is the first time a review has convinced me to give a game a try. Had written this off entirely but great review!
It's sad amazing games like this got trashed by most gamers nowadays just because it's switch exclusive and it doesn't have hyper realistic cinematic graphics games like on ps or xbox. Guess gamers today always judge everything by graphics only
‘Don’t judge a book by it’s cover’
Graphics and art direction is pretty trash tho. Gameplay looks solid however
@@TheRoleplayer40k
The art is absolutely a strength of this game to make up for the graphical fidelity. The video surely praised that end. Why do you think the art is lacking?
I love the battle system to be honest. It’s going to be hard replaying the older ones when this one is so much more fun
Looks massive! Imagine this team working on more powerful hardware…
It would be nuts
I own a switch that’s covered in dust and has been waiting for this!! Can’t wait.
Not gonna lie but this is one of the best games I played in years & im not even into these type of games but damn I’m glad I bought this!
I try not to get too caught up in what genre a game is I just play whatever fun, unfortunately that leads to me having very unpopular opinions like halo 5 is a fun game or Spiderman ps4 is boring
Warms my heart seeing ACG embrace this game. Xenoblade Chronicles is my favorite JRPG series. It just offers an experience unlike anything else you can find.
Yessssssss i love your reviews man
thanks
I just can't get over how beautiful the scenery is in these games it makes me wish I could go there I can't wait for this and digimon survive
Amazing review, this is one of best jrpgs series out there, impressive what Monolith Soft has done here, with the Switch hardware, thanks Karak.
15:37 I feel like you should voice the protagonist for persona 6
How was this game and the new Pokémon made on the same console? 😂
I miss your reviews for switch titles Karak. So happy you still doing them here and there ^^
Great review! I like how you went in detail on how amazing and massive the world is. I’m excited to play it
Dude, this game looks mighty impressive. When I get a switch, I think this one might be a buy.
Never thought i would see ACG enjoy a jrpg so much.
I haven’t played a xenoblade game yet but I think I will jump in with this one.
Closest game to Xenogears, especially thematically, in decades
Luckily I saw this thumbnail. Nearly forgot to pre order it from Amazon with a good discount. Can’t wait for TGIF lol.
Look at this then look at Arceus. Looks at how big Xenoblade franchise is and then look at Pokemon ip worth. It's embarrassment that they released Arceus looking like that.
highest grossing franchise of all time btw
One of my favorite game series! Was so stoked to see this review up. Now I can't freaken wait! Thanks for another great review!
Now we need is a Xenoblade Chronicles X port.
From the moment this was announced this has been one of my most anticipated games of the year. Looks great. I am beyond stoked to get started
Facts bro 💯 your reviews are are always top notch even if I don't always have the same opinion on everything I still watch u first
Games like this are nice. They're not afraid to make you work for the rewards of their intricate battle systems, because they know it'll be fun for you. It's usually the Japanese coming up with this stuff. Good for them.
I’ve played about 15 hours on pc and every single mission has waypoints and map directives lol
@@jonr7364 You're right hehe. My 2nd paragraph was unnecessarily mean to other games. Removed it.
@@Saith516 still an awesome game though. Definitely picking it up on the 29th
This Is the first review that didn’t feel overwhelming for me. I haven’t looked up anything about this one. This is a solid review Imo
I want to play this but I can’t get around the blurry visuals .
I've listened to youtube at 2x speed so much I don't know how normal human speech sounds....
Really appreciate the depth of the review here! Cannot wait for Friday.
@ 3:55 when talking about the grass (I am not disagreeing or complaining). I really do not notice it until it is pointed out to me. When I am playing games sometimes I am so caught up in what I am doing (running away from/after a enemy, battling, etc.) I only see what I need to be concentrating on. Thanks for your very detailed review of the game. Picking up my copy on launch day.
Ya I can see that. And I swear in some spots its the reverse. But it was so odd I had to mention it.
@@ACGreviews 👍🏾
The rare Nintendo review, love to see it.
Excellent review!! Wonderfully said and I can tell you had a lot of fun with this game and the making of the review.
Your videos are great, super detailed, but also a bit of an informational firehose, so this feels a bit overwhelming. Some JRPGs have systems on systems and sometimes they themselves become a bit overwhelming. Hopefully they ease us into these systems naturally.
The Xenoblade games are some of the best paced games out there, in terms of story and gameplay elements. There's a lot of stuff to focus on, but less than Xeno 2 and much more manageable.
Great video as always pal! Extremely hyped for this one!
Ever since Xenoblade Chronicles X I’ve wondered how a Monolith Soft game would look on a more powerful console. It’d be incredible for sure
Thank you for the masterfully thorough review once again sir!
This gameplay confirms that we can wear the offseer outfits at any time thank you
A JRPG review from ACG? Sign me up!
Great review! Can't wait till Friday!!!
thx for the review. i was hoping you review this and then you are even giving it a buy. so i buy ;-)
the only question i have. can you resize the HUD in combat? i know on a small Switch Screen it should be large but i'm going to play it on a 65" TV and in all Trailer and Pre/Review it thought that the UI is too large.
Planned to get Digimon Survive first instead since the 2 games are released on the same day but.. Oh man now I feel like I want to get this game too. Always enjoyed your reviews!
This is one of those game series, more than any other, that I really wish wasn't designed for a hand held system.
I had to take a double take when this notification popped up in my feed! Lol. Bayonetta 3 review coming in Oct???
Probably not but I will try
@@ACGreviews Did you play Bayonetta 2? If Bayo 3 is even close to as good as 2, then it will be a great game!
Another excellent review, Karak. This is an easy day 1 for me.
Enjoy! and thanks King
With how good it looks on switch imagine how good xenoblade would look if was other platforms
Its a nintendo ip and they own Monolith Soft
@@michaelmacorso4479 okay? I know this. I said "imagine"
@@statesminds Thats like "imagining" Mario on Xbox. People are bound to think youre silly for that.
Glad to hear you liked it. Guess it was a safe preorder after all. The visual clutter is a hallmark of these games and I don't see anything that is any worse than the previous titles in the series. Looking forward to diving in.
Not to be mean. But if you preorder and then become worried if you made the right decision, then don’t preorder.
If your thought comes down to “worth it”, it is always worth not pre ordering. Devs and Pubs would both take it more seriously. If you need an example, Cyberpunk.
@@irritatingtruth9121 Dude. It’s a game. It’s not that important. Just wanted to comment on the video.
This this might be my first Xenoblade game.
Wow, absolutely fantastic review, excellent breakdown and observations and your takeaways expressed so clearly - as always. Cheers!
Alright, you convinced me, I’ll try out Xenoblade.
Just imagine this game on the actual modern hardware.
I absolutely adored 2. I can't wait to boot this up on Friday!!
Cannot wait to get this thanks for the review
Need to play Xenoblade 2 first, but I gotta get this one day. Its hype just seeing how estatic people are about Xenoblade 3!!
Do I have to play the first 2? Not should I, but are they necessary?
Monolith has stated that XC3 is a self-contained story, so you don't need to play XC1 and XC2 to understand it. However, the community (me included) recommend you do play the two prior games to get the most out of your experience with XC3. After all, even if XC3 is a self-contained story, there are returning locals and characters in XC3 from the prior games. Seeing how these locations/characters changed in XC3 will be far more significant if you played XC1 and XC2 to see how they were beforehand.
It seems like the settings of the first two games inform the backstory of this one and there's a few characters that appear to potentially be from the older games.
Very very very vague spoilers for the first two games:
Basically the implied premise seems to be that the settings from the first two games have long since collided and we're dealing with the aftermath, but I have no idea if that's actually the case and I really don't want to be spoiled for 3 lol.
You do not I discuss that in the review. it would help and further the story but no
There's a few good timeline recap videos that shouldn't take more than a few minutes. Just check out one of those and you'll probably be fine.
@@ACGreviews Thank you!
Was not expecting to see a ACG Xenoblade 3 review when I woke up today… what a pleasant surprise. Looking forward to this game.
Had to be done lol
I know exactly nothing about this series but based on this video, I might go Witcher and jump in at game 3. Man this looks good!
Another thing to note, this game is heavy on the feels..
When I was younger I played tf out of xc1 on my brothers 3ds and I beat xc2 and enjoyed it very much. Idek why I didn't consider buying this game tbh lol, I guess I just haven't seen much info about this game before today other than theory crafting occasionally
This game deserves to be in a more powerful console. It's unfortunate that the Monolith devs are stuck making these games for such a weak console.
I'm not a Nintendo hater, I own 2 Switches. But you gotta admit this game would be amazing in 4K/60fps.
I am getting it regardless.
To the VA they are good VAs, but they are the same people that did some of the main characters from XC2 and Torna. This is kind of grating to me currently, cause I can not see them as not those characters from XC2.
Small correction from near the start.
Xenoblade Chronicles was on the Wii, ported to 3DS and Switch. Xenoblade X was on WiibU
XC 2 was on Switch. XC 2 Torna was on the Switch. XC 3 will be on Switch
PS: Would love to get Xenoblade X on Switch or just on something, not Wii U.
It kind of proves that we don't really need a switch pro but we will need a more powerful console from Nintendo in the next year or two.
Game freak can take lessons from this type of game apply it to their new Pokemon games that are a wreck
Man, this looks fun as heck, I need to get started on this series
Me watching this even though i have special edition preordered lol
Thank you for the watch
not too familiar with this franchise and when initially playing xenoblade chronicles 2, i was into it but the combat never really clicked to me so i sorta dropped it. but this game really looks fun, hopefully this combat/gameplay can actually click this time 😅
Really not my type of game but it's stunning and I'm thinking of buying it.
The type of game it is is one of the toughest to get into, considering the complexity, tropes and length. It will obviously be one of the best of its type but if it really wasn’t your type of game from the get go and you’re conservative with your money then maybe you should try check out one of the other games for cheaper first.
I'm really disappointed that I wasn't able to get the collector's edition of the game. I'm sure the game is good, but I'll probably wait to get it on sale just because they botched the launch.
My sentiments echo others: Nintendo? Glad you did it, and I'm glad it's here. Thank you for the video!
Gotta say, this one snuck up on me. I wasn't to excited for it and I thought it wasn't coming out until way later after the original reveal, but tomorrow? Guess I'm starting a 70 hour JRPG tomorrow.
100hr*
I feel like this game is going to be amazing for people who already love Xenoblade games.
🙂
Yeah I noticed the thing with the grass in like 2 seconds.
This has become my go to JRPG series, ousting Final Fantasy or even Dragon Quest and a Day 1 buy every time. World design is unparalleled, interesting combat, great stories and characters, music that sticks with you and the unique voice acting… I’m really feeling it.
Oh yes, can't wait to have 7 characters screaming at the same time, all the time, for 100+ hours. Please tell me if there's a voice volume and/or switch for during the battle.
You can turn the volume down or off for in game voices, yes.
Glad this turned out so well
I'm about 20 hours in, and i could certainly do without the 6 thousand cutscenes that ALL begin in exactly the same way - overhead establishing shot while they walk silently for about 4 seconds, then one of them stops suddenly, someone asks them what's up, and they go "i don't know..." B ut overall A+++++
i'm gonna play the hole game on my channel 👍
