- Finished up the nitrous install! Can't wait to finally spray nitrous on the #throtl36 (IG). We installed a Zex bottle heater, purge kit, Zex ECU, Mounted the bottle, wiring, jets and everything in between. I opted to keep everything as clean and as hidden as possible, so we put the ECU into the windshield cowl. What do you think?

I was warned year's ago not to run a kit on mine. 14 years later I always still wanted to. I ran over 100 10lb bottles on my 140k miles Acura Integra 65 shot zex kit. that's a lit if fun to have! I ended up breaking a ringland. But I got really careless after years of perfect flawless reliable power. I used to hit the rev limiter like crazy in 1st and second. So I'm basically not scared of nos. never really understood why I was told BMWs don't like nitrous. never given a reason. always really bothered me. needless to say I'm really excited to see your car run in it. I also have an e46 m3 I'm dying to zex up lol. If you have success with your S50 I might follow your lead...and brave up to my S54 lol. I just replaced that engine recently due to bearing rod knock. So that was a huge ticket item. can't wait to see your car run! sorry for the long reply. kudos to you. And good luck!
