I put this up here because our lovely voices make me crack up. Especially when I (Rachel) have to imitate lovely man speeches. Enjoy.

Its different, now. I remember when I 'felt', back then, as a child, when my heart was open. As a child, I earned "my 3 brass beads" in Indian Guides, as a Nez Perce cub. i wish we all had that same spirit today. Now, I"m older now, and I feel the same.. . .
If any peoples of the united states are owed something it is the wholesome and wise Nez perce. #1 in line.

Great video, BUT!... I live in the L-C Valley... it's colloquially pronounced as "Nez Purse" literally. "Perssay" is something really unfamiliar

If the white American explorers mistakenly called them New Percé i.e. pierced nose, why are they still called this? Surely they should be known by what they were originally known as? The Real People - but in their own language.

the French, only they would pronounce it "nay persay" meaning pierced nose, which i think is the origin. However, the locals now pronounce it anglicised, i think.
