Here is how it works and why you can only use multi gear systems for larger electric trucks and buses.
When RPM range is 500rpm at idle using torque converter and 2,200 peak all components stay below 120deg f.
DANGER: High RPM direct drive can damage gears at high RPM and increase the motor temp to well over a dangerous 220 degrees f when traveling at highway speeds.
