Why does this actually feel like an official Thomas song. If Bob the Builder could do officially released parodies of existing songs, Thomas surely could’ve too.
Fr since they basically killed off the show after the final episode being The Royal engine and starting all engines go Stuff like this just really keeps the show fresh and is so cool
Henry sat in a cold, snowy drift. Snow had tumbled onto the track, and he’d driven right into it. The snow was so high around him that you barely see his funnel and dome, much less his boiler or cab. “Oh my…” He sighed. “I wonder when help will arrive. Drivers gone for help, but it’ll be ages before he comes back!” Then Henry heard something. At first, it sounded like an engine. Then came the voices, two of them. Singing in tune to their own puffing came the sound of a strange song… “An’ I would puff 500 miles….” “An I would puff 500 more…!”
Another splendid parody MV! I think this could be a perfect set-up for the anticipation for Episode 6 of Back on Track starring Donald & Douglas. I love the editing on Donald's face from angry to happy. TheGingerEngine did a brilliant job with the vocals. It does sound like the twins themselves were singing it (sorta like the Japanese dub or even Arcade Productions' original Thomas songs). I first heard of this song via Thunderbird Studios' special of Rails/Enterprise of the NWR based on "The Twin Engines" book.

He recorded it twice, once as Donald and once as Douglas for the lead and the backing vocals - very happy with how they turned out. Glad you noticed my little face edit too! Thanks again! :)

My Jaw literally dropped I never expect anyone would do this yes I know some people do this song with the twins of them but never thought they edit a little more detail to actually is more like Donald and Douglas singing like Scotland to sodor that line was so epic !

I just stumbled across this, and I am blown away! What an amazing tribute to my two favorite characters in the franchise! I've seen many people make Donald & Douglas themed music videos of the original song, but to see new lyrics dedicated to our favorite Scottish twin engines is a whole new level of awesome! Truly two of Sodor's Finest, the clever, friendly, versatile and powerful bravehearts of Sodor :)
Imagine if there was a story where (in reference to Bad Day at Castle Loch) Donald and Douglas along with Emily went back to their old home in Scotland due to missing it.

When I’ve listened to it sometimes, I’ve thought of changing the line from walking 500 miles to puffing 500 miles, and maybe writing a parody of the song.
