- We run you through how we use the Patriot Campers X1 with our two kids. How to pack up with the kids tent attached, all the bedding, floor mats, stretchers etc all packed inside the tent bag!
There is some key tricks here to help show how we do it and the gear we use to make it easy! This is the quickest and easiest way to set up and pack down in our opinion.

Which c gear mat size do you use? Was that for under the kids tent and change room?
Hi there, we usually use the 2.4m x 6.0m which is more than enough for under the kids room and the main tent etc (typically fold one side back a little to avoid pegging through the mat (here on our website - offgridoutfitters.com.au/products/cgear-multi-mat-floor?variant=11589432148015)
Otherwise, a good all rounder for mainly just the change room, or under the awning is the smaller 2.4m x 3.35m (here on our website - offgridoutfitters.com.au/products/cgear-multi-mat-floor?variant=11589522915375)
No issue packing up kids room in bag? Plenty room?

@@offgridoutfitters l have a 2018 X1, it has the older style bed hinges. Doesn't quite fold completely flat as yours does.
BTW, great spot for the poles, l still had mine stored in main pole compartment.
