I say, if this is the only time of year you can come, it's fine. 👍 It's not as sunny as April or as blue-skied with chilly breezes as in December, but the upside is fewer crowds. 😊 It never rains nonstop in Thailand, especially outside the peak season of September and October. 🌦 Just bring an umbrella or rain jacket from 7-Eleven and continue traveling as normal. 🏝 Also, listen to the boat companies-if they say it's too risky to go island hopping, don't go. 🚤
It's hard to tell when you're on an island, I guess. But according to a local (Phuket), if you saw the news on June 30th, there was severe flooding in Phuket. ‼️However, there are two important points from someone on the ground (try searching TikTok for Phuket weather, maybe use google translate to Thai language): 1. The flooding didn't impact Patong Beach. The Patong area remained dry. (So even during flooding, it's not the entire island.) 2. By July 1st, the sky was blue and clear, and everyone was enjoying their day out. 🤷🏻♀️ So, keep your fingers crossed! I hope you'll get to see some blue skies during your trip. You never know-it's hard to predict the weather near the coast, beach, or island.

I’m flying to Phuket on the 10th of July. I’m really worried about it being rainy all the time 😭
