@@DerikAndSarah Hey, were all doing the best we can. My husband felt bad when going through cancer treatment(all he could not do for us as a family, for our son who was 3 when he was diagnosed). But it is keeping your spirits up, praying as a family, giving it to God who is our strength). And in Derik's case taking care of the body God gave you. He knows he is a Husband and Father and our priorities are different when God gives us the gifts that garner those cherished titles, "Husband", "Father". Keep smiling and lots of hugs all around(so healing)!

I moved one week after major surgery and burying my husband. I had to rely on so many for help. I had to hide the pride and accept the help. 😊
I can totally relate to Derek. We were moving and I was seriously sick. My husband totally rocked and cleaned our new space, put up blinds, set up a temporary bed.

When I became a first time homeowner, it was a bundle of emotions... but after awhile, you get settled in, and you will be glad you did it. Watching your beautiful children play was so heartwarming. God bless your family & your new home!

It's nice to have so many young and strong people in your life to help with moving!! Also, Sunny and Jack are just precious playing together. I felt like crying when Sarah foresaw the day when they would be all grown up. It happens with a blink of an eye. I know from experience, as do all parents!

Derik please stop saying you are useless because you can’t help. This is just a season in your life. One day you will shoulder the load and be the one to do what needs to be done. Congratulations on the new house guys...... Finally your own home after renting. Love the Beestons..... Love how everyone came together to help. It was definitely a good choice in coming back to Utah where the whole family is. I lost count of the amount of times Derek mentioned he was unable to help and I was like " chill out dude we understand and know you probably feel helpless but it's beyond your control". I'm stoked for y'all, looking forward to seeing the house tour.

Its really so sad that some people feel the need to shame you for making money and the way you spend it. I think you are doing an awesome job.
