Bloodboy is good, but it should be spelt bloodboi.
You should use blood wyverns for extinction drops, you would hit so many targets with the breath, maybe you could heal faster than you took damage in there.
Perhaps, my issue with them is the large turning radius. Maybe like 10 mounted ones might work best
@@Syntac the turning radius is much better on the crystal variants because they're smaller
@@analothor even the Crystals still have a pretty bad turning radius but it is better than normal wyverns

@@Syntac are you sure they don't lay eggs ? I was playing on crystal isles 2 days ago and i got 2 tropical crystal wyvern eggs and i have the vanilla wyverns not modded,maybe it's a bug only in your cluster

I believe he means the Heirs don’t lay Tropical Crystal Wyvern Eggs. You can definitely breed your own, but you can’t steal one of their eggs.
I still wish that the wyverns breath attacks ran off of the oxygen stat. It’d make oxygen useful for something on wyverns and it would make things just little bit more interesting
Yeah but then they would do less dmg, since you would need to lvl melee and oxy

The blood wyvern doesn't work on the dessert titan, because it's modeled after the fire wyvern, which it's fire breath doesn't effect bosses either. It makes it so you can't just melt their health down.
Titans are immune to breath attacks in general.

Fun fact: you Can heal with the blood wyvern by eating corpses too, and It increases with the amount of damage you do

I like the overall model of the ice wyvern the best, fire wyvern was my favourite overall (just really like the classic firebreathing dragon), but the ember crystal wyvern, with those colours and the glow at night...my new fav for sure.
Can we talk about how syntac always seems to get amazing colours on wyverns, am I alone with getting maybe one solid colour on the whole creature

I think wildcard definitely needs to buff wyvern HP, it doesn't make sense that crystal ones have more when they are a lot smaller -_-

I started playing ark recently and i learned a lot from your videos, great quality and entertainment. Only one thing I didn't understand: how do you get 66 mutations for each part on the same creature
You start with breeding 1 male with many many females all with your highest non leveled stats. Than you start breeding and look at all the baby's and see if they have a mutation and if that mutation is in a stat that you want. Must be a male though. Then raise the baby and replace the last male with the new male. Then you breed again until you have a mutation in the same stat if male replace. It takes some time but you got some nice dino's when your done

Idk what's been heard about the king titan but given how much damage he deals, id be careful with the low hp on the wyverns so they don't get one-tapped out of the air

The only wyvern u can use the breath on Titans with is the lightning wyvern. I hope this helps :) also great vid!
I’m pretty sure poison works too (and maybe tropical?) but it’s far less practical.

Poison has always been my fav out of the regular, but the tropical is my fav out of the crystals.
Tamed my first ever wyvern today in my lost island playthrough and it’s a max level lightning! Very happy as my previous flying mounts are a snow owl and a managarmr with terrible stamina

I’d say that the blood wyverns probably don’t work against titans for the same reason bleed doesn’t work against bosses, it would simply be too op due to percent based damage/healing
Nope none of the crystal wyverns work. Same reason fir wyverns don't. It's similar to what your talking about but it's because fire from the wyverns is nulled. And all 3 crystal wyverns are programmed off of fire wyverns.
Blood wyvern bleed is a different type it isn't percentage based
it works on the king but none of the others

@@civil42069 No it doesnt. The king titan is literally classified as a boss, and is immune to almost all projectile breath damagetypes, the blood wyvern doesnt work period on the king titan. Its not bad programming its probably just intended to prevent cheesing with rapid damage.
The king titan thing is straight up BS on the wiki. Not only does blood debuffs not work on bosses, but all the titans (some projectiles though like forest do work but idk why), are immune to breath attacks. The king titan specifically doesnt even take damage from any of the wyverns breath attacks, the breath tick of the blood curse also caps at like 100 damage anyways, and only regens 50% of the damage dealt healed back to its inflictor. The king titans attacks stun you for 5 seconds and deal like 5K damage. So not only can blood wyverns not even hurt the king titan with their breath, but even if they did they absolutely will not chip away 1.5 million health by draining 100 health per second. Nor can it outheal.
Also the lightning wyverns beam is childed from a melee damagetype (carnivore small), as melee wyvern lightning/electric) which is why it can hurt some titans and also doesnt get reduced/affected by projectile multipliers. However the king titan is still immune to the lightning breath.
Also that crystal wyvern is good against king titan has been there for like almost 2 years. IDK who the hell put that there but someone needs to change it.
Im still kind of annoyed though, not trying to be rude, that after all these years people still dont seem to understand that when a buff has prevent on bosses checked that it cannot be applied to bosses, PERIOD. ITS NOT A GLITCH, ITS NOT A BUG, ITS NOT "YOUR DOING IT INCORRECTLY" Its literally what it says, the debuff DOES NOT work on bosses.

eternally my favorite Wyvern is Tropical Crystal Wyverns because I had a 150 one I tamed on a friend's server named Spite and I will never know how good they actually were but they were the most used wyvern on that server by everyone when people needed a wyvern since they didn't have one yet. They lasted the entire duration and I will never forget that green and yellow friend!
If I remember correctly they disabled blood breath on the Titans due to it being so strong with the swarms counting as multiple enemies

Tbh my favourite is the ice wyvern, and long story short I my found my first ice wyvern as a max lvl on Ragnarok, and they are super rare there, but it sadly got killed by a stupid high level thery, hate those turkeys.

hey syntac, dont you have a bunch of wyverns from that you hatched in that video you did ages ago? you could compare some of their stats to the max levels in this video and get some breeding done without having to grind the trench more

Tropical Crystal Wyverns do lay eggs, just not as many as the others. It's easier to tame wild ones then breed.
Super easy passive tames. Just get up on their backs, lay down and feed em crystals.
Those colors are really cool, I had a red body white horn and belly with black wing tips that glowed a bright red at night, I'd like to see the glow on urs at night, idk if it is color related but it would be awesome if it is

I have actually found tropical wyvern eggs before. I only found a few, they seem to be very rare though.
It seems like a glitch that they don't spawn most of the time I think it's glitched to the point that it's like 1 in a million
@@CreamIc7 I think its glitched based off the server you're playing on. Either the server will allow them to spawn or it won't and nothing you do can change this. I played on console for 6 months and never found a single one but then on PC I found multiple within a day.

Poison for appearance, (I prefer the nighttime glow of the crystals though) and Blood for use (and the glow, haha!)
Poison are kinda my fav too. Because their wings are bigger and rounder instead of thin and pointed.
My least fav lookwise is the lightning, I hate it’s weird alien looking eyes with teeth just poking out.

I can pretty much understand them being good against the king titan.
They are fast so they could maybe dodge the attacks.
The king titan also has a low attack speed meaning the wyvern could heal while it is charging it's attacks.
If it hits them it stuns them for like 5 seconds and stun locks them.

I can confirm they won't manage the Alpha King Titan, but a good army of blood wyverns will manage gamma and even beta.

Syntac, you can’t use most wyverns attacks on the desert Titan. Infact, but don’t quote me on this, I’m pretty sure only lighting wyverns breath attack works on the desert Titan. Although maybe the poison’s breath does too, idk
