- On "My Car Story" we're in Rosemont IL at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals on 11-24-13.
We're looking at a 1969 Chevrolet Chevy Camaro Yenko.
The car's Owner is Wade Ogle, and the person sharing the cars history in the video is the same person who restored the car, Mr. Ric Vanlerbergh with Ric's Restoration Collision Repair which is located in Chesterfield MI, Phone # 1-586-949-9444.
There were only 201 of these cars built, and this is one of the few with "extra" options, since most were built just to race.
ENJOY!
Six years ago. Wow! I won’t ask what it cost today because I can’t afford it.
Hi Curtis, I have no idea of car values, Lou
Hard to believe it has original sheet metal as those things were rust buckets, at least when used in the North
Hi Jim, Clearly rust was a problem for many cars of this time period in the Midwest & North, Lou
Enduro, X11, Hugger, stick - beautiful car.

Beautiful restoration Lou! I have a 71 Nova SS not nearly as nice as this. Of course I drive mine to every show. They were built to be drive IMO.
Hi Adrian Tomlin, Happy to read you appreciate the build of this car :-) Glad to read you're enjoying your Nova too, Lou
What an AWESOME machine , this was a weapon to be used on the mean streets back in the day . So happy and proud to see it's still around to be enjoyed , a very well done restoration.
Hi Jeff Fothergill, One of my early videos and glad you enjoy this "AWESOME" car :-) Lou
I'm from Wexford Pennsylvania born and raised about 20 miles from where the yanco dealership was back in the day where my parents and grandparents knew about and most of these are fake clones very few exist real

Man. What a rare beautiful Yenko Camaro. Don't get many chances to see Yenko cars due to the very limited numbers.
Hi WIlliam Scott, You're right. This video was on my first weekend of videoing cars, and I've seen few Yenko's since. Lou
I'm assuming you'll be at the MCACN this year??
It's my favorite show. I've been blessed with media passes the last 3 years so I plan to be there this year too. Are you going? Are you showing a car?
Cool. Can't wait to see more video's from this show. No and No. I did the show circuit for many years when I lived in NJ, but since moving to Florida, I'm just a spectator.
I'm looking forward to that show :-) Thank you for being a Viewer of the Channel, Lou
it's the best for sure. A real museum piece.
Hi chan-nel, Happy to read you appreciate this early video and car I did. Here is the link to a new one I think you'll enjoy, Lou ruclips.net/video/hU7PqMz3XPo/видео.html
