I would love tag team battles, maybe the dome that builds around Goku when he fires the Super Kamehameha is a hint of that feature making a return

It might also just be trying to be manga accurate, early on when the Kamehameha was drawn it would blend with the Ki around the user
This game should be more like this game rather then it being like it's previous entry.
Some people nowadays, and don't get me started on the people that are saying it's good that we haven't heard anything about local multiplayer or that they should spend all resources on Online.
it would be nice if they have the option for both. 1v1, Tag team, team battles, and the DP battles. even as a sequel to tenkaichi 3 it doesnt mean it must restrict itself only to tenkaichi 3. it makes sense to have this game include a new way to battle like a proper sequel. (or in this case, include a portable exclusive mode onto home consoles.)

Tag team would be the best option when it comes to team battles. BUT I hope that the other characters can get "summoned" for special attacks like in the Ultimate Ninja games or even Kakarot with the support menu.
I also hope we'll be able to see the other characters fight in the background of the map until they get tagged in, and if you do 1 v 5 handicap matches (for instance) that the 4 non tagged fighters are seen standing out of reach and watching the fight (like in the Cell Games for exemple, or Vegeta when SSJ3 Goku fights Kid Buu, or whatever other instances when that happened in the series)
Most people don't know that the BT games were called Sparking! in Japan and don't see this new game as a sequel, but even if they knew that, most people would still complain of something

I see that added as the ToP mode. a gauntlet team mode akin to Tekken & Earlier Soul Calibur games instead of their usual team battles.

I would like tag team. That psp game was fire because of it. I'm not saying making it the only way to play or make the gameplay build into it. but having it as a game mode option would be awesome

I would love for them to bring back Tag Team from TTT but it will never happen I believe. I want it but not because of TTT *even though I love that game* but it would probably be the closest I ever get to Zenkai Battle Royale *especially with English dub,* which also had 2v2. BoZ extended it to 4v4 which was a cluster...duck.
I’m holding out hope for Tenkaichi tag team style 2v2 especially for online.

Team battles doesn’t bother me too much but I want to be able to pick how many health bars you have like in the budokai series.

If they make it like BT, health will be dependent on the character with items to increase it. RB had them all equal as standard.
I think a tag team mechanic would hold the game back from being as good as it could be without it.
If this game does not have 3v3 5v5 or T.O.P mode they can keep it 2024 and you want basic mechanics
Anyone comparing the previous games on the ps4 of dragon ball to think it'll be the same with sparking zero is just stupid. The name sparking zero was the original option they would've picked had it not been for budokai tenkaichi so why the hell would it be anything involving xenoverse 2 and fighterz? I do enjoy the thought of doing a few team battles with Goku Black and Zamasu vs Jiren and Toppo. If they do add GT in this, I'll finally be able to do a good set of the GT villians with the Pride Troppers. Jiren, Dyspo, Toppo vs Omega Shenron, Super Baby 2, Super 17? I'd go off with a set like that. But the real question out of this that should've been asked is are any Great Ape or any giant transformations are gonna be added? I'm not even sure if they're confirming movie characters so besides Vegeta, Cell Max and Orange Piccolo, I highly doubt it'll come back, but it's not like we won't get another trailer beforehand to even see more of what's to come so who knows? I just want these niggas to understand that sparking zero was the original name of the budokai tenkaichi series. Thinking it'll be anything but that, is just flat out stupid. Other than that, I pray if they put a Full Power Jiren, or Mastered Ultra Instinct Goku, that they at least try to balance it out with the other weaker Fighters. If I'm doing a tournament mode and I'm using Krillin or Tien or Android 17, and I gotta fight Beast Gohan, and this nigga got the biggest damage with just simple combos like he Kid Buu, I'm all set. I can't even imagine how Broly is gonna be vs Gogeta Blue. And we haven't even seen the fusions yet
i was NOT expecting to read all that 🤣 but I agree that comparing this game really to anything from previous gen is weird. when it comes to comparing graphics, art style, the way beams look, etc. that’s one thing but expecting this game to play anything like those? c’mon now 😂
@@DrLove307 They have a point when it comes to new games for the last few years. Storm Connections is just Storm 4 DLC, Mortal Kombat and SFVI both started as one of those games with a small roster to fade back with it's own DLC, Jump Force was a complete bust, My Hero One's Justice 2 ended even before their season pass ended, Demon Slayer Hinokami Chronicles didn't bother to even show a potential DLC after we got to see 2 Hashiras fight, Guilty Gear Strive's hype ended with it's release, any KOF XV had it's last few talks even before season 2 even finished, and that's just people playing the extent of certain fighting games. You know how many games we gotten these last 3 to 4 years where we received bullshit and still play it just because of the franchise behind it?
I think this game will some raging blast stuff in it like the deflection and more. I don’t mind cause raging blast is basically tenkaichi anyways

What about the story mode though Bro but here’s what I’m wondering in the story mode if it’s going from OG to Super and nobody’s talking about this!!!how will it work in the fight against say Radditz when Goku and Piccolo fought him together because Tenkaichi as great as it is never did that fight correctly it was always a swap in and out thing so my question is with the power of UE5 will we see some team up story mode fights like Piccolo and Krillen vs Nappa at the same time
Most of the storylines behind this series doesn't really do the story all in detail, we'll be lucky if Raditz is even in the game to be honest. And I say that, because they haven't shown any signs of the DBZ franchise and they seem to be more into the introduction of Super. Characters like the movie characters, Fasha, King Vegeta, Demon King Piccolo, King Cold, Spovovich, hell, if they even have Chiaotzu or Nail, I might be able to think of them bringing back the Ginyu Force and the Amrored Squadron. But I can guarantee, I doubt we'll see Pikkon, Tapion, Uub, Supreme Kai, I don't even see the regular Broly or Bardock showing in yet and they're the first 2 characters in ANY DBZ Fighting game. Xenoverse had them in before DLC, Fighterz had them as their first DLC, Burst Limit had them despite not continuing to the Buu saga, Ultimate Tenkaichi had them along with Super Janemba being the only other movie character, even Tenkaichi Tag Team and Raging Blast had Bardock and Broly first before anyone else added along for any movie characters in their games
i’m assuming the story mode won’t be super in depth (crazy cutscenes, every fight, etc) but i do wonder how much Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball GT, and Dragon Ball Daima will be involved 🤔
@@Hungrybox17 nahh I’m pretty sure radditz nappa cui Zarbon Didoria the Ginyu force will make a return because I mean cmon Hercule then we have Z saga trunks I think it’s almost safe to say majority of the cast from Tenkaichi 3 will return and they’re promoting Super because it’s newer remember in the interview it was stated by the developer that the Zero was more of a starting or entry point for new and old fans of the series im an old fan so hopefully all of Z will be included
@@Hungrybox17 Am sorry to say this but if you think Raditz will not be in the game you are just dumb(again sorry)Because if you think about it If he is not gonna be in base game who the hell will pay for a Raditz dlc,The characters that could be dlc are famous and loved characters like Broly,Jiren or SSJ4 Gogeta(and Jiren and Broly are in the trailer)
And to be honest you dont have to be worried about the roster cause the Officiel Japenesse website says the largest Character roster in the Serie.
@@kwasiparker6393 Yeah but we have to look at how they've been marketing these games for the last few years in general. Obviously DLC will be involved but to say everyone from Budokai Tenkaichi 3 will be there or even say the roster will be bigger than what it has is a hard stretch into what we already have. And with Super involved, it's not like we gotten any movies along it that isn't part of the series like DBZ has, so unless they'll animate the manga later next year, I can see and makes sense of their DLC being added to those characters like Moro, Granolah, 73, Gas. But some of those characters from BT3, made more of a hit for characters than it did without it. Fasha, Future Gohan, GT Goku, who's to say they won't add GT characters in?
