How To Mess Up A Video Shoot with the Fujifilm XE4

We've all been there before! You get a new piece of gear, super excited to use it and when you do youre having a blast. However when you put the footage on the big screen you notice something a little off and realize your settings might not have been what you wanted. This is what happened to me in this video while using the new Fujifilm XE4. I thought the entire shoot i was shooting slow motion at 120p so I had my shutter speed at 1/250. Turns out, i was shooting at slow motion 240fps!

I’ve gotta say, the slow motion does create a very peaceful vibe in this. It sucks that your shoot was messed up, but I think the footage overall turned out incredible!

Thanks! Yea it still came out decent given the circumstances, there were a lot of shots i had to scrap because of the gimbal issue unfortunately but it is it what it is! Didnt want it to never see the light of day either way lol

Happens to me all the time too. Or there’s always some fingerprint/smudge on the lens that I don’t notice until I’m editing haha

haha its the worst but part of learning! One of my friends has a pre shoot check list for things like that to make sure everything is good before shooting. lol
