Hello Wilson
@@Scotlandball99 Hello scotty
This is why you don’t share your comments, we’re gonna spam you👹
So... the first thing Estonia did after Zimbax joined the army was to conquer Shanghai.
Zimbax didn't join the army. The army joined him!
Shangai is an estonian megalopolis 😂
Fr
Delhi is a Latvian megalopolis 😂
@@mwzngd1679 Tokyo Is A Lithuanian Megalopolis 😂

Shanghai is the biggest and most populated metropolitan city in Mongolia 🇲🇳🇲🇳🔥🔥

no it in china🇨🇳
I am a geography nerd(ALSO SHANGHAI IS IN CHINA AND NOT IN BANGLADESH)
Why Bangladesh?
Nah, we conquered Shanghai
Had a kid try telling me Central America was a continent.
I had a debate with my friend on whether Antarctica or Anctarctica is right. I was right.
When I was young, I thought Central America was a CONTINENT.
I live in Chile, here the teachers says that there's only one continent called "America" and it can split into Central America, North America and South America.
That matter is tell in every school in Latin America.
My grandma thinks Africa is a country 🙄
@@SimplyGeographyYT
SHE IS PROBABLY AMERICAN.
Right?
A couple of errors: 1) You misspelled Canada's capital on-screen as "Ottowa" when it's "Ottawa"; 2) The border of Canada and the United States is described as "Canada and the continental United States as well as the border between Alaska and northern Canada" but the Alaskan border with Canada is PART OF the "continental border"--the "lower 48" states are generally designated as the "conterminous" or "contiguous" United States, referring to the various states' having shared borders with each other;.
And, I'll echo what others have mentioned but, if Shanghai is not in China, in what country is it? It lies within the borders of the People's Republic of China while the Republic of China (currently based in Taiwan) claims the city as part of the whole "Republic of China" and, while Wikipedia's facts can sometimes be a bit questionable, the Wiki article on "Shanghai" opens with "Shanghai is one of the four direct-administered municipalities of the People's Republic of China" and also notes "[t]he population of the city proper is the third most populous in the world, with 24.89 million inhabitants in 2021, while the urban area is the most populous in China, with 39,300,000 residents."
Also a fun fact: Alaska contains the United States's northernmost, westernmost, AND easternmost points.
Man its always good when zimbax uploads
even while he's in the military, huge respect for that
As a canadian, i knew that the capital of canada is ottawa. Another geography fact many people get wrong is spelling Ottawa Ottowa
As a Canadian immigrant, I knew that Canada's capital is Ottawa (and never spelled it Ottowa) a long time before I even thought about Canada as a country to move in.
I have 3 dumb geography things people have said
1: In school our class were meant to make a document about an Asian landmark. Someone chose Mt Everest but our substitute ripped her paper and told her to do something else because “Mt Everest is not in Asia” and when she went on to Google to prove her point she didn’t know how to search something up on Google(ik) So she went on RUclips to search it up💀
2: A classmate thought Ukraine was Asian
3: Another classmate though Europe was in Poland
This hurt me because *i’m a geography nerd*
@brunobbigdongzhong No way💀💀💀
Yeah also in my class the teachers always saying that south America have 13 countries when it's actually 14
We all thought at some point that Africa was a country 😅
A classmate told me that USSR means United States America 💀

Shanghai is one of the four direct-administered municipalities of the People's Republic of China (PRC). The city is located on the southern estuary of the Yangtze River, with the Huangpu River flowing through it. The population of the city proper is the third largest in the world,

For number 10 at 2:17,
Although it is technically true that most conventional "continents" do sit on their separate tectonic plates, there are many exceptions and this is not the only traditionally used convention/criteria in determining islands and continents. For example, the Indian subcontinent, the Arabian peninsula, and the Carribean and Central America are all on separate plates from their traditional continents (Asia and North America), therefore disproving this criteria of tectonic plates. Rather, modern continents are mainly divided based on culture and certain geographical/natural boundaries such as languages, cultural groups, racial groups, foods, connections between nations in the region, mountain ranges, biodiversity and biomes. Also there is the definition of a continent simply being far too large to be an island (lol).
An island can simply be defined as "any area of land entirely surrounded by water that is smaller than a continent." Australia would be the smallest continent in the world if it is considered one, and with the exception of Russia is the only "continent" smaller than individual countries, making it more like an island. Australia is also technically a part of the Indo-Australian plate, making it geologically more connected to other places than many people think. If you look at maps, it also does seem like Australia is just a massive island completely separated from the rest of the world, and it just makes sense to call Australia an island.
It is a fact that not all geographers consider Australia a continent or an island, and some even say it is an "island-continent". This is because its features which act more like an island are also somewhat cancelled out by the isolation, the diversity and the size, which all make it much like an island. This is true as seen in the vast range of geographical biomes, landforms, biodiversity and cultures.
Overall, it's not completely wrong to call Australia a continent rather than an island, however it is wrong to say that the reason is simply due to an isolated continental plate.
Lmao that was kinda long
Our planet has a lot of things that are hard to categorize into the arbitrary categories us humans have created. Trying to make up theories why Australia is a continent and Greenland is an island is futile. It's much easier to just say that the difference between a continent and an island is somewhere in between those two.
Continents all together is a massive headache as a concept. Afro-Eurasia is one single landmass but we divide it into 2 (or sometimes 3) continents. The Americas are a single landmass but we divide it into 2 (or sometimes 3) continents. Australia and Oceania are a point of discussion on their own. Antarctica is the only continent we can agree on, but if it melted, it would not be a continent sized landmass but a bunch of islands smaller than Greenland. Would it still be a continent?
The official language of Iran is called persian but it is more commonly refered to as Farci in Iran and the middle east

As an Australian I want to ask, what is an island? Australians often think they're on an island and there are some islands on the tectonic plate, or is it the largest landmass on the plate doesn't get to be an island, bit confused about this one
