It's interesting sometimes how history can repeat itself 25 years apart. In 1992 Alabama came into Starkville, ranked #2 and Ms. St was #16. Their records were identical, Alabama 9-0 and MS St 7-2. Alabama came from behind in the 4th quarter to win 30-21 and went on to win the National Championship. I thought about it again this year as Bryce Young led Alabama on a last minute drive to tie the Iron Bowl. Freddie Kitchens was the last #9 to start at QB for Bama and he led Alabama on a game-winning drive in 1996 vs AU, 25 years earlier. And the final scores were similar, 24-23 and 24-22.
Don't forget how similar the endings were between Alabama and Georgia in the 2017-2018 national championship and 2007 matchup. I really hope it's coincidental and nobody is pulling strings.
Mine too! Something about DWS that night. I’ve been to Bama @ LSU,A&M,FL, and just got back from the Tennessee game 🥲. That place was rocking and that was a great game. I thought we lost it for sure
Alabama needs some more linebackers to step up. Ben Davis, Mekhi Brown, Josh McMillon, whoever. They need some guys on the offensive line to step it up. Hopefully this was the wake up call needed before Auburn, because we know how tough that will be. Hurts is a tough player but Auburn will be the game that he is measured by. We'll find out what we really are in Jordan Hare in two weeks. #rtr
Mississippi state's coaches Drew up a great game plan and their players bought in. Much respect to the Bulldogs. I don't want to see any more my fellow tidefans talking down on Jalen hurts after that game. He's the biggest reason we're still undefeated and he made some Sensational throws that really showed how much he's progressed as a pure passer. The kid is great so get off his back. Calvin Ridley was also sensational and he is without a doubt the best wide receiver in the country pound for pound.
It's nice to see the NCAA ignoring the noise rule during plays. Any other team's school shows up with noisemakers and it'd be one penalty after the other.
I only do the most significant of the three "patsy" games each season, unless more than one of them is close or relevant in some way. So I almost never do the FCS games.
If miss state won no CFP for Bama that season if they lost the iron bowl like they did and no UCF to get in the mix and there would have been a clear national champ to most.
I've never held Alabama in disrespect, but little smart-asses like you can persuade me to put you and your team in the super-asshole category with LSU and Ole Miss. Sabin paid respect to a Miss. State team that came very damn close to ending his undefeated season, but snide little dipshits like you only look to insult.
That penalty for going over the blockers on that punt is complete bull shit. So you can still jump over people as a running back and QB and WR but suddenly when someone jumps over people to block a punt it’s a penalty STOP RUINING FOOTBALL
So any SEC football team that actually believes they can win a football game against the GREAT Alabama is "cocky"? You're not only an asshole, but a stupid jerk who can't even spell "too". I've had a gut full of you bragging asswipes from Alabama. F^*# you and your fat grey elephant.

Even though we lost, that was the best game I've been to!
YouFirst Productions have nothing to hang your head about
i know it's pretty off topic but does anyone know a good site to watch newly released tv shows online ?

that game was so stressful
Devontae Smith the guy who caught the GW 41-yard TD pass to win the CFP National Championship
And who would later become the most decorated WR in college football history.
One of the best games of the year!
Even with all the freshman on defense! Tide heart of a champion! RTR!
3:35 that ref ate it lol

Very good game. Expected us to win 52-17 or something like that!
I think we should lower our expectations or else the disappointment of actually losing will be worse lol

I love how at 16:18 Jacobs is like "nah bro, that's mine" 😂
This was such a good game
How can there be Pass Interference WHEN THERE ARE 15 DUDES STANDING THERE
This game proved that we can win ugly. We might not play our best or even all that well, but we can still win.
Alabama should be #1 again. Thank you Auburn for your help.
Laura McCord they didn't help. They hurt Bama. They lose and Bama clinched West. They won now they can win the West. #1 means nothing
It’s so weird watching this now that players on both teams are making a name for themselves in the nfl
That chain bullshit Miss St. did before kickoff was just plain dumb.
Thug mentality - its been present at MSU for decades, ANY time they have an above average team.... :-(
soulful terrain I don't think so I. Kinda think it's cool and they backed it up but Bama broke it anyway
Ridley kept getting mad he couldn’t score, it was his own fault, he always looking back, slowing himself down.
GOD BLESS

They're not allowed to use them during plays, only in between them so I guess that's how they get away with it
We can’t use them during plays.
Fitzgerald had to have his sternum surgically separated from his spine after that first hit from Evans.
No mercer game?

Jalen hurt was holding the team back..
It's cute how they brought their little chains and bells to the game. Nice trinkets always help you win, right?

It's just a typical bandwagon fan nothing new lol
Roll tide
16:00 #41 just got knocked into next week
9:45 Flag??!!!
23:28 LOL!!! I bet Fitzgerald felt like shit..RTR!!
0:07 😂😂😂😂 T

Roll Tide barely
Msu got to cocky, Bama ended it properly

hurts looked to run first and pass as a last resort. Never cared for him.
All that just to lose
I love Jalen but he not good QB passing the ball
It’s cool to want bama until you get us
Frosty TV what are you talking about? Yall almost lost lol
It’s cool to want LSU until you get us 15-0 first SEC team to post that record in 2019 Geaux Tigers
