Because those who prepared for JEE were more than happy in giving exams. Only those wanted the postponement who were hopeless from their side.

You can't conduct exams when PGs, hotels are closed and even train/transport services are not there or are minimal

Started community kitchen nd gave food low price. Gave free rations to the jobless families. Even gave free kit containing items worth around 500 rupees to 88 lakh families in Kerala. Increased pension of old people. I wish if our country had any such good leaders like Vijayan.

I have to respectfully disagree. I don’t see any bravery but just the image of resentful yet polished man who’s able to get away with catchy phrases, “most evil govt”, “worst govt we have had in India” etc., without being challenged for facts. I live in the US and have never ever seen the kind of awe and respect for India as in these last few years.
Lal sagar - I don’t know how old you are, but I have lived in India for a good part of my life before moving to the US. What I sense is the world opinion of India is quite different from what Indians like yourself have about your country. The pandemic has brought many hardships that every country is facing; not just India. I can’t comment on the temple construction but in a democracy a lot of what is done is based on popular opinion. Also, please bear in mind, the temple construction was in Modi’s election manifesto and I have to think people elected this govt with their eyes open. This govt is most certainly not perfect but I shudder to think of the alternatives.

As a neutral- non - political- democratic citizen of INDIA, I TOTALLY AGREE WITH MR. Bhushan's claim, especially after 2014. I am a witness to these issues and changes in so called Indian Democracy ---again, as a neutral- non biased citizen.
Contempt of court merely means violating court orders etc....by no stretch of imagination it meant that the judges n their judgements cannot be criticised. If any judge is accused of wrong doings like corruption etc than its a personal matter between the judge n the accuser n the judge shld come clean of all accusations and the accuser shld b sternly punished for levelling baseless charges. No body shld b allowed to level charges against the whole judiciary when it’s possible to identify the rotten apples....in the present case the judiciary instead of ordering enquiry into corruption charges sought to muffle PBS accusations backed by hard core evidences ....
Bilkul sahi aise hi advocates hone chahiye sab desho me ......hats off to you bhushan ji.

The worst part is, there are only two parties who are fighting for power in center whether we like it or not, so we need to support either BJP/ CONGRESS, and no hope for some third front, because even if they win, there is no guarantee that government will last for more than 1year, unfortunately the basic ethics and fundamental rules of both BJP/ CONGRESS are not good for the future of INDIA. To my basic knowledge Congress is making INDIA weak and BJP is making INDIA biased. Both in Congress and BJP there are corrupted or dictators, so both parties have there flaws. Judiciary/ Public/ Government bodies are mere puppets in there hands, there is another group called Business class and I don't want to speak about them.There is a saying if we cannot hope for change better wait for complete destruction and then a new ideal society need to rebuild.

Every coin has two sides, we can't say only current govt upset us. It's pandemic. Any government who are in power shall definitely upset the entire country in current scenario. We can't ignore what current govt has done for our country which no past government has done.
