@@aimeejo3405 _"the truth is that a person is incapable of changing their gender"_ - For the sake of clarity, it's important to distinguish between gender and sex. Sex is the biological categorization between the male and female of a species based on a set of inherent and often pronounced characteristics. Whereas gender is more of a social construct created to differentiate groups of individuals, usually on the basis of sex, and include things like perceived roles, attitudes, norms, values, relationship between the different sexes, etc. Interestingly, the concept of more than two genders have existed long before modern society and its current day preoccupation with it in these culture wars. Tribes and old cultures from places as varied as Mexico, to India, Indonesia, even certain Native American tribes, etc have had concepts about genders that go beyond the binary. It's easier to change gender, as a social construct, than it is to change the biological sex that we were born into. But now, even science have made it possible those physical changes. So whether or not we agree with the notion that a person can be a man, woman, or neither, regardless of their inherent characteristics, it's not as simple as saying "you can't change what you are".

The thing i find strange about him saying "4 abominations" and including islam is that he doesn't include Judaism. Jews reject the trinity and reject jesus even as a prophet. Jews can go inside a mosque but not a church as they consider it to be idolatry so why only 4 abominations?
They’ve been hardwired this way, as you said Jews outwardly reject Jesus even as a prophet, they don’t believe In ther trinity, In fact a lot are disgusted by it as it means polytheism yet some of these Christians don’t have that against Judaism.
Judaism is the Old Covenant which leads to the New. The Bible is clear that the time will come when they will accept Jesus as the Messiah. As for Islam, it is not a true Covenant at all. Its a false creed which stems from false revealation.

@@kamalabout9640 No he was preaching the Gospel which Piers Morgan as a Catholic should know. In the old testament it says all sinners should suffer the death penalty. The Gospel is that God sent Jesus to save us from that death. As everyone is a sinner in this world. Jesus lived a perfect life without Sin and then was killed on the cross as payment for our Sin and then rose from the dead . Therefore no one has to suffer the Death penalty as long as they believe in Jesus Christ and repent. He paid for our Sin so we can have eternal life in Heaven. He also wasn't referring to being stoned to death on earth but when we die are Judged by God we can still have eternal life in Heaven instead of our soul being destroyed by being cast into Hellfire. This is what Christians believe and is where Christianity differs from Judaism and Islam, in which if any Sin was committed during a lifetime God will not be able to forgive. As the debt(sin) has to be paid. That is without believing in Jesus who has paid the debt for us and ofcourse in Judaism they don't recognise Jesus as Messiah and he is not part of there religion, and in Islam they don't believe in Jesus as Messiah but as a Prophet of God.
I had a student CLAIM that I called him a lesbian. This caused big problems for me, but then all the other students said it wasn’t true, so that ended it. As turns out, he identifies as a unicorn. This is all true.
Don’t agree with what he says but at least he has the balls to follow Christianity properly and not just pick and choose parts of it and then celebrate Christmas.
Why not take the best ethical parts of the religion and leave the obvious supernatural mumbo jumbo out? I would prefer the people who have the balls to do that.
Amongst other things he tried to avoid mentioning. He went on TV prog ''This Morning'' and identified the student 2 days before the disciplinary hearing. He wanted to get the media on his side. He had other serious issues relating to directing the children to his podcasts....in effect using his position of teacher to 'groom' kids into his extreme religious ideology.
@LadyLyndhurst01 Lol you have no idea what you are talking about. Absolutely none. When he was suspended from Cherwell school, he was the leading the CU in the North site of my school. I met him around when I first became Christian and gave him my testimony about becoming Christian. There was no grooming kids. Also his religious ideals were far from extreme. If caring about your student is extreme then I guess it would be extreme. In fact I've never noticed him ever saying anything bad about trans people or even mentioning them. He is a real Christian. He never placed emphasis on homosexuality transgenderism etc as the worst sins. He was always clear in the CU that all sins are equal under the eyes of God, in that no 1 person is superior to another as we are all sinners. You calling him extreme and a groomer is not only a lie but a complete misjudgment of his character. If you can cite a specific example of extremism, then please show them with evidence instead of blatant accusations
I'm a muslim and I used to teach and never thought for a second that any religion is an abomination and we do believe in Jesus and Virgin Mary... it's sad how things went
Like it or not, Christianity is based on the new testament where Jesus specifically says " I am the truth, the light and the way". He also said, " I have come to complete the law, not abolish it. People love to cherry pick lines from the old testament such as stoning people. Jesus also said, " let he who is without sin, cast the first stone", he also said, " If your eye causes you to sin, pluck out your eye, better to go to heaven with one eye, than hell with both eyes". This teacher is spreading the word of God and that's his right. As a kid, we were all taught that homosexuality is wrong, then came the tolerant movement. Today, we are chopping off young kids' body parts in the name of tolerance. Where does it end. Kudos to this teacher for standing his ground.
Meanwhile in China, kids go to their classrooms, sit down, and learn about math, algebra, trig, chemistry, biology, etc and so forth... meanwhile, in the United States and apparently wherever this fella teaches , they learn about this stuff. 😐😐
Piers sounds pretty New Age in this exchange. He was gaslighting the entire time, he couldnt even look the man in his eyes when he was insulting him like a real man should. There is a big difference between calling a persons actions/beliefs an abomination and actually calling that person an abomination.
This conversation further proved to me how religion humiliates those who appear to be smartest in other matters. Religion is clearly not Piers forte, but he somehow thinks his confidence and loud voice will submerge his ignorance.

You’re naive if you think he stuck up for Islam. He’s controlled opposition, he condemned his guest for executing adulterers - In Islam, adulterers are executed as well, so basically Piers attacked Islam indirectly. The Christian is apologetic, his answer should’ve been: If the adulterer is proven to be guilty then he deserves execution. We all know in Islam that you need multiple witnesses or a confession to make the execution happen - Which is rare, so we conclude that the death penalty in this case is to protect the society from publicizing adultery, which is what’s happening now in the west, in where they even brag about cheating.

Too much mercy and there are no standards for appropriate behaviour, too much justice and everyone would get squashed by ideological perfection. He talks more than the guest because of the sensitivity of the topic. It cuts him Pierce real deep when he is confronted about the equality of every sin in God's eyes. He does want to accept it and therefore he resorts to overwhelming the guest with a bunch of words.

Piers is satisfying to behold when his thunderous moralizing nails a suitable target. But this is one of those cases where he just looks like a total dick. A guy just lost his career, clearly hasn't had Piers' lifetime of media training, and the issue he came to discuss gets lost in Piers' moral purity test. Sad!
It's a real shame that based on his behaviours here, Piers doesn't appear to go into this, and other conversations on his programmes, with the mindset of curiosity and wanting to genuinely explore and understand the other person without interrupting or shutting them down. It comes across to me as if he goes into the interview with a fixed mindset and then tries to grab soundbites from the interviewee to justify it. It feels very similar to Cathy Newman's 'so what you're saying is' interview with Jordan Peterson of a few years back. As Covey says - seek first to understand, before being understood...

That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. ~Romans 10:9-10 You cannot be saved by your good works, because no matter how hard you try, your “good” is not good enough for the perfectly holy and completely righteous God who alone grants salvation. Nor can you be saved by your moral perfection-no matter how moral or how perfect you are. As the Old Testament prophet Isaiah points out, your righteousness is about as good as a “snot rag”. (Isaiah 64:6 ). I have actually cleaned that up a bit, because the Hebrew phrase for filthy rags, ukabeged ehdim, literally means, “like as rags of menstruation.” Sorry if that disgusts you, but it’s Scripture-so blame Isaiah. The point is, both our acts of righteousness, and the quality of righteousness that we hope they produce, are disgusting to God. So if you are disgusted by Isaiah’s language, think of how God, who inspired Isaiah to choose those coarse words, is repulsed by our efforts to get him to save us. So what hope, then, is there for our salvation? Well, frankly, no hope resides within us. None whatsoever. Ephesians 2:1 says “As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins.” That’s how hopeless we are apart from God’s work to save us. You see, all a dead person can do is lay there and be dead, let alone try to be righteous before God.
This is really interesting I didn’t know that the Bible says every sinner should be executed but I want to clarify one thing about execution of adultery in Islam, in Islam you can only execute someone for committing adultery if you have 4 witnesses seeing the even happening and the Quran also tells us we can’t spy on people so the only way you will be executed for adultery is if you do it in the open street. I’ve lived in Saudi Arabia for 10 years and not once did I witness any execution
We should be executed but that's not the same thing as we will be. Because we are saved by Grace not the law or our works :) Of course given that we repent and confess Jesus as our only Lord and Saviour

Not really. In the law given to Moses the law was applicable ( it’s in the Bible called Old Testament or you can call it old Covenant ). In the New Testament ( CALLED GOSPEL and it means Good News) it’s not applicable because Jesus Christ came to save the world and not to condemn the world. But, because of the freedom we have to choose between good and evil, right or wrong on the final day called THE JUDGEMENT everyone will get what it deserves.
In islam is impossible to accuse someone for adultery because the mohameds child wife was accused of adultery by 3 witnesses. He mohamed waited more than a month ( to see if she will have her period or not ) and he increased the number of witnesses to 4 and he asked them if they saw the penis going in and out as the pen goes in and out the ink well?? Obviously muslims today they are changing that rule but that’s what they should do according to their religion.

Misgendering a student should surely fast track you into a head teacher role. Someone has got to be the adult in the room.
agreed, teachers are there to teach truth and the truth is that a person is incapable of changing their gender.

Sadly disrespectful to call someone 'nuts' and more than once. Gives the impression he just wants to shut down the argument rather than truly explore what the interviewee is trying to explain.
Sad!
If anyone was disrespectful it was Piers.
Nope. He exposed that guy.
According to christian evangelical theology, good works are the consequence of salvation and not its justification. They are the sign of a sincere and grateful faith. They include actions for the Great Commission, that is, Christian evangelism, service in the Church and charity. So Good works is a consequence but not a necessity for christian evangelical salvation. I have actually cleaned that up a bit, because the Hebrew phrase for filthy rags, ukabeged ehdim, literally means, “like as rags of menstruation.”
Sorry if that disgusts you, but it’s Scripture-so blame Isaiah.

So you are saying in Christianity sinners are not to be punished until the judgment day? Or some rules changed ?

Christianity and the law of the STATE are separate things.
The New Testament is to teach people what is good and to do good and not to take matters in our hands to punish anyone.
In other hand islam is religion and politics in the same time.
@@unitedeurope2 I did a quick research and apparently what you claim is not what actual Christianity teaches. I'm assuming you are talking about more modern approach to the concept of Christianity as a spiritual thing rather than a way of living.
This guy wouldn't even let him finish a sentence. I mean if you bring someone on your show, then let him express himself.
Yes express himself !!!!!
Pierce can be a horrible host
The irony is Islam accepts and calls Christians “people of the book”. The Quran mentions Jesus more than Mohammad. This man needs an education
But Muslims understate who Jesus is & reduce him down to a teacher/a prophet.
Christians believe Jesus to be God. So it doesn’t matter how many times the Koran mentions Him if they are mischaracterising who He really is.
There are similarities between the two religions, but they are fundamentally different.
don't matter anyway the two books are man made and stupid cult
@@emma_emma00 we do not worship man as muslims, neither do jews.
@@ahamilton3435 I know that, I don’t believe I said you did.
But obviously you know Christians don’t believe that Jesus was just a man, they believe He was God incarnate.
@@emma_emma00 Only some Christians believe in a Trinity, Jehovah witnesses and many other sects don't.
Now get a Muslim teacher on. One who teaches in a Muslim only school in the uk. And who would never get fired for his views. Then ask him what he thinks of everything that happens today. Then ask what the punishment should be... you wouldn't dare.
He is free to have opinions about other beliefs. He only had to be careful about his language and choice of word.
Preventing people from criticizing other ideologies and actions will lead the society to a dead path
I could say Christianity is all wrong and terrible religion. That is my opinion.
Why does he have to be careful with his words? Oh Jihadists. Yet another point why Islam is the mother of bad ideas.
