    Best fitting RB I've ever had, old "Aero 9" with "IFS" fastening, a proto-BOA. An absolute glove. Newer stuff, not even close. Severe pain beyond an hour use.

    I'm 64. In my 30s, I rolled about 20-30 miles a day, every day, on Rollerblade Lightning. (At least, that's what it says on the skates.) I haven't rolled in about 20 years now; I've been bicycling. But I don't think the bike is working me enough, even though I do 20-50 miles at a ride. I'd like to blade again. Skates seem to have come a long way. I took my old blades out of the closet, and saw that some of the sides had cracked, and a piece even came off. So I want to upgrade. I would like to blade (when I'm up to it, which could be sooner than one might think) up to 20-30 miles a day again. I tried on a pair of "Zetrablades" today, and they felt very unsteady. I'd be happy with something like my old LIghtnings, but I'm afraid to use them, if parts are falling off. So, what would be a good skate for me to get back into it? Thank you.

    • @ThirtyandRollin
      @ThirtyandRollin  2 года назад +1

      I would look for a hard shell skate. More support than the Zetrablade. Maybe a Rollerblade RB or Twister. If distance is your game maybe an E2. You can also look at Powerslide or FR skates as well.
