I would like to see how and what video on cleaning and polishing the bikes. Surely they don’t use all new parts every race so they clean them to make the bike look new
If somebody wanted the opportunity to race, a national race, Pro AMA. Where do you begin to be able to try to qualify? I’m someone that used to race but doesn’t have a bike now when I get one my goal is to try and qualify for Loretta Lynn’s one time in my life at least. So just trying to see the steps I would have to take.
Good luck if you havent raced in a while trying to make lorettas. You realistically need 3+ days a week on a practice bike and a race bike for races obviously. I raced for 7 years and was always top 5 or winning in my class until i started trying to go for lorettas. All the fast guys (and sandbaggers) come popping out the woodwork and i went from 1-5 all the way down to lucky if i cracked the top 10. that was from 2008-2016. Could be different now but doubt it. Not to discourage you lol.
When I was an overly keen yet stupid young guy I priced up and calculated how much weight I would save running all the titanium parts from Racetech and for a 2017 ktm 250sxf (so already the lightest bike in it's class) you'd save 5kgs
The complete kit on a KTM is about 4 lbs. Just did my new 300 fuelly. I did it for looks though and was surprised at the weight loss but I'm adding spring forks next so I broke even LOL.
Why are so many high level teams switching from Vortex ignitions to GET ignitions??? Do GET ignitions have features or capabilities that Vortex ignitions don’t?
I've ran vortex's for over 10yrs now and whilst they are good they just haven't evolved with the times. Get is also wifi adjustable like the yammies aswell
So much unobtainium here. Even the Yoshimura pipe is different than the one you can buy. So basically almost none of the improvements HRC made can be applied to your personal Honda.
Not even true this is also how it has always been the innovation made by the factory teams eventually trickles down to the consumer all the bikes stock suspension is stuff that would have been factory a few years before. And that makes a factory bike cool is all the one off manufacturer specific prototype parts prototype being key as we will eventually see consumer versions of things that work well on race bikes.
Is it that Gas Gas bikes are red and can look like Hondas from a distance and that Yamahas are no longer white the reason why Honda HRC has opted for white plastics.
No, this year they came out with a line of 110 bikes for kids in different colors. As an omage to bikes that get kids into the sport, the HRC team decided to use the same graphics and plastics. Just a little detail that will probably change later on in the season. It looks sick tho!
@@jackiechan428_3 Great idea from Honda. I think the white looks great. I'm thinking now of having white plastics on my next Honda with a red seat cover and red and blue graphics.
They need to be on CR 250 race bikes and not these 4 strokes. They sound silly.4 strokes are not motocross. The bikes are not faster. Myth! The bikes of the same engine size 2 strokes are faster. Part of the skill is handling the 2 strokes. We see a huge demand for 2 strokes for the past few years and Honda alone could bring back the CR250 and CR125 and they would have a waiting list to buy them. They are the greatest race bikes ever. Honda would only have to use the 2000-2007 CR’s and just upgrade anything that would make it slightly better but making it the same bike. Motocross origins are well know as being tough guys. They were primarily blue collar type kids. Due to the cost these kids are not getting the bikes at a young age and therefore these young men are not in the track because if so we would see far better racing and the racing would be much closer.
Absolutely Insane! Great job
Michael.
Love the tech & the colour too! - Great detailed review Michael -Keep up the good work!
Drool worthy! Michael great job as usual.
Nicely done, beautiful machine!! Ride red
Beautiful! I ride with a steering damper! If you haven't you should give it a try? Imho, they help with confidence!
Always love your vids, Mike. 👍
ML512, these are simply awesome, thank you!
Jett would win on a stocker
Michael, you are the shit !
What mm are the bar risers?
Coudn’t find the link mentioned in the end of the video to a deeper view of this amazing bike 🤔
What is attached to the pipe and what tube is running from it? first time seeing that.

Hi, where is the ECU positioned ….. is it like the standard production or under the seat ?
Amazing machine . Love a detailed video . What HP do you think this is kicking out ??
Over 50
@@vitalmx wow !!!! That's standard 450 territory OMG .
How tall is the bar mounts?

Two completely different things. Lorettas is amateur racing. You have to race the area qualifier then the regional qualifier to get a spot at LLs.

where the link in the description
Is it me, or does it look like they went back to the last generation model 20-21 engine, exhaust, airbox set up with the new gen frame and shell
I saw vital mx at Riverdale not to long ago
Looks great in white.
I can't remember a bike check where so much was changed from the stock layout
hello can someone tell me what is the reference of the hydraulic clutch that he uses
O2 sensor on the exhaust header will enable more finetuning of fuel and ignition mapping.
A closed loop or open loop engine management system ?
Closed loop. It can’t auto adjust? Just there for data tracking.
@@vitalmx Thanks for the reply !
Absolute SANO ✊✊👊💪😉
Completely drool worthy.
wow! .. what a saweeeeet bike!!! .. OMG!
Michael any idea how much weight the Ti bolts and axles save

A Hydro-static automatic Transmission ,centrifugal clutch or a torque converter so primative
its beautiful man
Do we know the bar bend ? 827? custom bar bend?
827 apparently, renthal were tagging on their insta during outdoors
What’s that behind the foot brake lever ?
Foam to reduce mud/dirt packing in there reducing brake feel.
Why are so many high level teams switching from Vortex ignitions to GET ignitions??? Do GET ignitions have features or capabilities that Vortex ignitions don’t?
from what jett has said in a press conference, the GET has a start/holeshot map, probably has a lot more benefits aswell
I've ran vortex's for over 10yrs now and whilst they are good they just haven't evolved with the times. Get is also wifi adjustable like the yammies aswell
My Vortex is programmable but to get the most out of it you almost have to have access to a dyno and O2 sniffer. Adding a sniffer kit is ideal.
sickest of the sick!!!
It's like looking at a beautiful woman!!!
Ya, i'm a sicko 😊
No your not. Im with ya😆 👊😉
Hmmm, do they have therapy for this?
@@vitalmx 😆💪✌️
@@vitalmx I hope not !!!
On a positive note- the bike will cost allot less than the woman.
I would love to see all these ama guys run a bike off the showroom floor, like we bought, skill...bike...what y'all think
bar bend ??

Does Jett really run his rear brake lever almost an inch above his peg???
P.S. Ridiculously sick looking machine! ✊ 🤘🏻😎
Yup, so does Roczen.
@@vitalmx wow…interesting! (Guessing that’s so they don’t accidentally hit it?)
Roczen says he uses it for leverage with the top of his foot
New one please
Do you want to know whats on the outside ?
Nice unobtainium bike... no wonder privateers are at such a disadvantage. I thought there was a "production rule" in place? 🤣

50th anniversary bikes should be rocking the elsinore scheme. These bikes look gay as hell
Hrc should find another rider that's not an arrogant prick that's more concerned about the views above the team.
someone is a bit butt hurt? how is he arrogant?
@@Redlinejake he's obviously an forkner fan boy🤣
adding a R dont make it a 250r tho
