She looks so fucking happy playing there. I like that
I don't know why I took so damn long to find this man but my goodness, Is he amazing.
I can't remember the last time I was this blown away at a band's first listen. It's..... wow.
Bright whites blew my mind
This version of Atticus is brilliant, blows the album version away.
Gotta love a light up banjo !
Super fun!!
This is the thing that blows me away. His live takes are ALWAYS better than the album.
This dude is off the charts amazing. It All Began With a Burst is so friggin virtuosic and creative and fun. I can't get enough of this sh*t. Especially the part here at 24:00 - 24:25 and same part on the album are so satisfying that I just can't get enough of it. Not unlike heroin.
I love that they are enjoying themselves, playing music in the company of lovely people.
HOW HAVE I MISSED THIS PERFORMANCE!??! I love Kishi Bashi solo, its insane to watch and he makes the music so full and triumphant... but this collab is such a JAM!!!! into it.
God! Atticus in the Desert is amazing in this format!
This was amazing. Truly surprised and overwhelmed.
I've just listened to it,and enjoyed very much
This is my 3rd time watching this full performance and I've watched the individuals multiple times... the live performances blow me away every time. IT'S JUST SO HAPPY.
finally he knew he needed someone else for his music
Kishi Bashi's songs are the best!!
He is my favorite musician
ok
This just makes me happy. Seeing them in concert was such a wondrous experience.
Nice to see people still make happy music
Listening to K on repeat. What a talent!
This is incredible!!!! It sounded like a studio recording. I've never been convinced by loop pedals in live performance but this by far the most impressive use of one I have ever seen. You guys have just bought a life long fan :)
You just can't help but smile while watching this.
This combo is gold!
the best performance ever
I have a feeling that that is the coolest banjo I have seen or will ever see.
Heard this when I was at work. Really helped me get through the day
Kishi Bashi is the most original band I've heard in awhile.
Saw this guy opening for Guster in Houston, didn't even know who he was or that he'd be there. Ended up enjoying his show tremendously, incredibly fun, incredibly talented. Great music
bliss is easily found if you just keep your eyes opening. i'm smiling.
Kishi is truly amazing.
This music makes me smile every time! Yay so excited to see them in Jacksonville,fl. Totally made my day!
He made me forget everything for a while, Totally digging this
This is wonderful!
I love Kishi's music!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!!!
This is so cool!!
LOVE IT!!!
This is just about as happy as I've seen K perform. Looks like company other than a loop pedal brings out the smiles. :)
Awsome, another 10+ to KEXP for having me discover another brillant band!
incredible
Es lo mejor !!
Super happy music. Instant smile.
crazy awesome

The banjo part for Wonder Woman wonder me sounds great!
Che BOMBA!
he simply is the best
, harharhar
zach galifianakis on banjo
Thought it was Seth Rogen.
That banjo is bad ass!!
The last title(It all began with a burst) went SWEET HAPPY FAST! ahahah! I enjoyed them enjoying themselves there and the percussionist looked like Cuddy from House. Aahaha!!!
Genio¡¡
First time listen, I have nothing useful to say. Just gonna enjoy this music; grinning like a fool, almost in tears.
when they stop i'm just like, wow.
это просто потрясающе!!!НЕВЕРОЯТНО!!!!
Atticus in the Desert kicks so hard with a band.
And notice.... This is what can be done without autotune...
He's going to be in Orlando tomorrow
je dois étudier pour tous mes examens mais cet group est très bon!
j adore atticusin the desert
I am a broken, broken man. You met me at my lowest. That is not who I am, yet that is how you will remember me. I did love you, and I am sorry. I miss you so much, Teddie.
2:31 is a great example of those vicerally gripping harminizations that only kishi can create in the dark of space. took so much energy to build from 2:15 ish
Woohoo
#kishibashi why don't you do some sort of collaboration with #reggiewatts? That would be so nice!!!
I think I know what it is that I don't like about this interviewer. He doesn't seem to care about the artists answers, but is more concerned about his own questions. He asks a lot of leading questions and when they talk about it longer than a short "yes or no" he tries to cut them off.
Side note, Kishi Bashi is great! Can't wait to hear more of his stuff in the future.
wish there was a recording of this. The live version of Bright Whites is MILES better than the studio cut.
he actually cites reggie as an inspiration, but i think he's very successful in making it in his own style and using it to harmonize and support his songs rather than making it the center.
great beat box
Kishi bashi is a genius.
me too
the beginning of bright whites reminded me of tune-yardz but after that part i thought nothing else of it until he started beatboxing at the end
I'm glad the banjo player was wearing an Iron Maiden shirt.
damn if only he could come to miami
I LOVE THIS TIME 15:00
Kishi Bashiさん、すごい! ほんとうにすてきです! yamerarenai!
A sunday smile, please¡¡ :3
i think that iron maiden shirt is a bit soft for this kind of show
en fait tout est bien
24:10 - 24:20 yes, they're good live
Kishi ibashi is what would happen if brian wilson and yoyo ma had a baby... And that seems to have worked out very nicely. I love this guy's music.
I wish the live loop pedal breakdown on Bright Whites was part of the studio version, like jesus christ
Just great! But I do like it when he is solo.
reminds me of tune-yards
I realize that radio personalities aren't the most gorgeous of people but could they at least get lighting that makes him not look like the ghost of Christmas past? Not exactly doing this guy a service.
That being said, great performance. KEXP is probably the best radio station in the world. (I'm not from Seattle.)
on in the desert... katakunaru
akhe to dg che bashiii E hasti dg ?!!!
Good stuff ignore the haters! Nice tunes something that is different.
I love how the banjo player is wearing an Iron Maiden shirt.
let alone that wild ass beat box layering at like 5:10
17:00 i really didn't see that coming
Elizabeth has a really beautiful smile! :D
