I do like blood run but in duel mode it favours super passive play too much imo, while it flows really well that cross map teleporter means you can just endlessly run away from your opponent The changes from the q1 version are mostly good though, mega being in a vulnerable position and rocket ammo being something you have to actually manage is a lot better. I just dont like that jump pad they added by the lower YA since you have to make noise to get up to the rl now also there are a couple versions of the map for q2, but i dont think any were done by ZTN
Oh man, The One and Only, Blood Run. Such a stunning map. If I would to compare Quake multiplayer maps to cars that I love the most, Blood Run would probably the closest you can get to Jaguar XJ220. Yes it is no Lamborghini Diablo, not by any chance, and it's not McLaren F1 or Ferrari 355 Maranello either... but it's close, real close - and it tells volumes about how high I rank it up in my mind.
2:07 Such a banal and false statement is just a shame for the otherwise very good and interesting video (👍 thanks). Of course, the gernade launcher is a key weapon in Quake 3 and as such absolutely important in the corresponding maps - even if you are not "pro" (whatever that may mean).
nice review!🙂what would you say about pukka3tourney2, charon3dm13 and Solitude by Hipshot? btw I prefer cnq3 q3-client which is used in cpma but I play with vq3 physics so it's much more eye candy (no angles in the sky) and has usual q3 movement 😎
