  • This €80 device could save your life! Today we are unboxing the Braun ExactFit 3 blood pressure monitor. I run through the price, key specs, and everything that comes in the box.
    I was at the doctor recently, and he asked me to monitor my blood pressure at home. Turns out I have something called whitecoat hypertension - which means my blood pressure spikes when a doctor takes it. My blood pressure is totally ok, but I needed to test it at home for a month to establish that.
    By regularly checking your blood pressure, you get a baseline for what's normal for you, and you can track any changes. If you're interested in picking up the Braun ExactFit 3, you can check it out here: www.boots.ie/b...

      With the device switched off and cuff unplugged, press and hold the 'M' button for 5 seconds or longer until the LCD screen turns on and says 'Del All'. Press the M button again and it'll be cleared.

    What a waste of time! I’ll never get this time back.

    I just got the device and I'm unhappy with the product as it gives inconsistent reading and readings for me and my wife are totally incorrect. I did measure several times and the device doesn't give correct measurements as I got measured in a big hospital recently. I''ll send it back to Amazon.

      Sorry to hear it hasn’t worked out for you. Can’t say I’ve had issues like that myself. But I guess sometimes things can be faulty. Definitely contact Amazon.

      I've had mine for 3 years, and it's as accurate as my gp's. I know because we tried them side by side in her surgery

    It's a good device, but the battery cover has very weak catches on mine, and the batteries kept falling out. I taped mine up. How's yours?

      Oh! That’s interesting. I haven’t had any issues with the battery cover on mine at all.

      @ronanhutchinson if I knock the unit, the batteries fell out. I've lost count of the number of times I've gone to take it out of the case, and the batteries and cover are in the bottom of the case.
      I've had mine about 3 years from new

      @t-jsstuff1744 that’s wild! Thankfully I haven’t had any issues like! Yet 😅😅 been using it for a while now though, and it’s all good so far.

    how does this detect irregular heartbeat? and what indicates that

    • @ronanhutchinson
      @ronanhutchinson  7 месяцев назад +1

      The cuff goes onto your arm and it reads your pulse and blood pressure. It has colour codes from green - red to indicate whether your readings are normal

    • @ludogienezever
      @ludogienezever 7 месяцев назад

      @@ronanhutchinson yea but thats just to see if your bloodpressure and heart rate readings are normal right? i tought you ment if you have an irregular heartbeat it would mention it. as in like irregular time between beats i mean

    • @ronanhutchinson
      @ronanhutchinson  7 месяцев назад +1

      It detects your bpm, so i think it can detect irregularities if you build up a baseline. But you need an ECG to properly detect an irregular heartbeat.
