Please pray for these students and nationals trying to leave, and all the fathers and sons who have been blocked from leaving as well. When these nationals leave they have a home to go back to, but many of these Ukrainians do not. Keeping all peoples in my thoughts
I think the main problem is with the lack of arrangement made for non-ukranian residents. When there is no proper order on how to deal with the people at the border, they just become victims to racist guards who use their little power that they have to abuse these poor people.
Unfortunately, many in the Ukrainian military have very strong nationalist and racist views. The border guards are notorious for that. If you take time to look at documentaries on that you wont be that shocked.
That's almost like asking for the impossible to be treated with dignity. This event should be a eye opener to some of the African world leaders that put that trust in so many foreign countries.

If they do not respect Asian and Africans (80% world population) why should they respect them or support them. This is primarily an Eastern European war. From reports I saw about this earlier today, the “mistreatment” was that men weren’t allowed to board the trains that were being used to evacuate women and children. It sucks but a child and their mothers should get priority for evacuation over able bodied young men, and I find it disgusting that anyone would whine about that. On a related note, isn’t it strange that we aren’t hearing complaints from feminist groups due to women getting preferential treatment, and priority for evacuation, where male Ukrainian citizens aren’t allowed to flee the country, as they are expected to stay and fight, shouldn’t feminists demand women be held to the same standard as the men, after all they always claim to only want equality. 😂

What I don't understand why these African countries have not come to help evacuate their people. Like India and leaving theses people to depend on other's mercy in a Middle of a war.

Why none of African leaders or Union did not arrange evacuation beforehand like US did for their citizens? Any non Ukrainian refugees from Ukraine can escape to Poland and process their status/documents according to general law.
The challenge is from the destination countries, the Ukrainian authority has to respect Poland's decision if they don't want non-white migrants. The same is true for Romania.

The strong should not panic and instead should make alternate arrangements. Secondly the receiving country (Poland) also has a policy in place to receive vulnerable people and also has an anti-economic migrant policy.
There is no point in crying-wolf or defending individuals that are selfish to be demanding priority when they are young (below 25) and able to walk to the borders.
